I'm in New York so I already know that Barack is getting our state's votes, but I think I may vote for Rocky Anderson. The Justice Party has some good ideas in their platform and if my vote helps to get that out there just a little bit more then it isn't a wasted vote as some people say a third party vote is. It will be interesting to see how tonight plays out but I'm thinking Barack takes it around 300ish-230ish If you don't mind me asking Jazzman, are there a decent amount of voting areas open and functional? I was wondering if Sandy would play a factor in these things. Voted for Obama last week. But I'm in Kansas so it really won't matter.

Early voted last week for Obama. Yeah he doesn't stand a chance here in Texas but had to do it.
With how close this election is I wonder if we won't see another situation like 2000. Not necessarily the mess afterward but one candidate getting the popular vote and another the EC and thus presidency.

I voted for Obama. And I voted against Paul Ryan. Twice. He represents my area in Congress.
I didn't vote Romney because he flip-flopped on just about everything.
I didn't vote for Paul Ryan for Congress because he never once debated his challenger despite campaigning for VP in Wisconsin numerous times. To me that was like a middle finger to everyone my district.
And I wrote myself in as register of deeds in my town because the only guy running screwed things up badly when he ran student government where I went college.

I voted already. Went with Gary Johnson as I can't stand either of the major candidates.
More interested in seeing who wins the ANC. It's an AU student vs. a neighbor who apparently shut the down in his face when he went to collect signatures and registered to run the next day.
Go AU!

Voted Jill Stein. I live in Texas, so it's double pointless.

@lakings: Remember, your vote could decide who congratulates us at the White House.

I think everybody should vote, if only for the sole purpose of pissing off Lupe Fiasco.

If only David Palmer was still alive, he was a great president. Damn that no good Charles Logan!

No matter who wins, I'm going to enjoy to sweet sound of silence on phone again and lack of political ads on tv.

My election philosophy this year is all about Chicago.
Chicago politics, voted for Obama.
Chicago wrestling, gonna watch Spring Stampede 1994, Summerslam 1994, MITB 2011.
Chicago pizza, yum.

I wish I could vote. It's funny how two years ago when I got my learner's license, my aunt asked me to register to vote and I said "I don't really care about politics." She convinced me anyway but now that my license is expired / outdated because I moved, I can't do it when I really want to.
Nonetheless, I have supported Obama since he was elected and if I could vote today, my vote would go to him 1000%. I'm absolutely terrified of what will happen if he's not re-elected. And that's all I'm gonna say because I'm not totally sure what falls under the okay/not okay to say rule.

What will be the bigger number? National voter turn out? Or Halo 4's first day revenue?

Voted for Romney.
I'm staunchly against Obama-care (and Romney-care as well, but that's not a law yet; God knows I'll argue that one tooth and nail, too and it's not a mandate like Obama-care is.)
It all depends on Democrat turnouts. According to Rasmussen (who is usually pretty spot on on these things), Democrat turnout will NOT be NEARLY as strong as it was in 2008 due to voter disenfranchisement and other issues, while Republican turnout right now is projected at or around R+7; plus with Romney KILLING with Independent support...

Um, my only thing is I hate how there's this "JUST GET OUT AND VOTE - it doesn't even matter who you vote for or what you believe, but VOTE VOTE VOTE" attitude in the past few elections. Wouldn't people rather have educated, informed, rational voters? Or do they just want people randomly voting just to vote? Honestly, I haven't liked a presidential candidate in the past 16 years so I've never put my vote behind them and I don't believe in voting for 'the lesser of two evils' either as that's just as bad as voting for someone you don't believe in. The other half of the "JUST VOTE!!!!" stuff is "Well if you don't vote, then you don't have the right to complain!" Which just seems like the strangest kind of leveraging peer pressure to get someone to vote when they don't support either candidate. Honestly - if people put as much time/money/effort into actually working in their personal, daily life to affect change as they do in following election coverage, cajoling others into voting and patting themselves on the back for doing so, a real difference might, might actually be made. THANK YOU!

I think I go with Judgment Day 1998 instead of Summerslam, not that I don't love Summerslam 1994, I just seen it like a million times, being one of the events I ordered as a kid. I've never watched Judgment Day 1998, nor have I seen Stampede before holy s*** this show is awesome, Muta vs Austin and Pillman vs Regal alone are classics. NYT has this electoral simulator you can play with, called 512 Paths to the White House, that lets you see how the different dynamics work out between the competitive states.

I vote Jill Stein for President. I am a Registered Green Party member and she and I agree on something like 93 percent of the major issues. She is also a fantastic candidate and even more interesting human being. Zero regrets about my vote.

Stampede '94 is fantastic. That and Slamboree '94 back-to-back are one of my all time favorite consecutive wrestling show combos.

I'm absolutely terrified of what will happen if he's not re-elected. Pretty much how I feel. Plus, I'm graduating in May and would enjoy paying off my loans based on a percentage of my income.
