can we get a Godfather II type story where we follow Luke in the present but then it flashes back to fill in some of the stuff Darth did just prior to A New Hope? I really like this idea.

Give me a Pixar film about Kyle Katarn or Shadows of the Empire and I'll be happy.

Instead of Nathan Fillion as some have suggested as Han's son how about Timothy Olyphant?

If I heard this when I was a kid, my head would have exploded - now I'm not sure what to think. I'd love to see a David Fincher SW film though.

I think it's an interesting idea at least that they want to follow the Marvel concept. The only thing that worries me is with Marvel, it was leading up to something genuinely epic like The Avengers. I don't know if Star Wars really has many ideas left that are of that caliber.

I've love to get 1 big serious movie from time to time, with lesser "risky" sort of movies 2-3 times a year. I'd buy hundreds of tickets to see a movie about college age Han and Lando trying to get Chewie laid!

Said this before, but this all means one thing that will satisfy me, and one thing only. That's right, an entire series of films labeled Star Wars: The Lando Calrissean Trilogy. Now, I realize there are already books by that label, but toss them out. We're talking an entire trilogy of nothing but Lando using his Powers of Suave to make his way through the galaxy. Starring Billy Dee Williams, Carl Weathers, and Samuel L. Jackson as the ghost of Mace Windu, and featuring this as the theme song. Well, that or this as the theme song: medievallando.ytmnd.com/

I don't know if Star Wars really has many ideas left that are of that caliber. SW does have tons of potential - if they expand into other eras. There are some stories that could be quite interesting to see. Personally I'd love to see Darth Bane's storyline. I just can't see a big Avengers-type payoff. Maybe if they did the Vong storyline but even then it's not the same at all.

I like Jackson, but just stay away from this. I still blame Mace Windu for destroying the Republic.
