First I've even heard the term used, and all it makes me think of is the, "Blackface for wizards," joke from one of the Cinema Snob midnight screenings videos. And that makes me think of, "Lavate las manos!"

Here's the thing, a show like BBT would work better as a surreal comedy or a black comedy.

Any time I've watched the show - I've found it somewhat funny. Only problem is I'm not a big fan of the Howard or Raj characters - I actually find them quite insufferable. So I don't watch the show often, but I have no problems with it, necessarily - I just don't set aside time to watch it.
It's all subjective, though. Plenty of people love 'How I Met Your Mother' and I can't stand that show despite my overall love of NPH. So, it's all up to the watcher - and obviously Big Bang Theory has quite a fan base to warrant all the seasons they've had.

I don't get the hate for laugh tracks. I prefer comedies to have them.
I don't get the hate for the Big Bang Theory. It's my favourite current TV comedy.
And I don't get the 'Nerd Blackface' thing at all. The only thing I can say is exaggerated is the intelligence aspect, other than that I knew people throughout high-school who were very similar to the characters of the show in a lot of ways.
