I have other reasons why I don't like WWE or watch their programming anymore but that's the easiest answer. It's a bad establishment, and unfortunately, unlike France back then, the lower "class" can't just "rebel" or whatever. They can leave, but they'll just get replaced. So it's still just like 18th century politics in France post-revolution and Napoleonic dictatorship *puts down Jean Jacques Rousseau essay collection and heads to bed* Sandow really is expanding the intellectual capacity of the contributors to this forum.

Rule of thumb when discussing things a wrestling company has done: just because they've booked somebody a fan likes in a high position doesn't mean that fan will enjoy the actual booking. For example, I'm a huge Samoa Joe fan, and was thrilled when TNA had him beat Kurt Angle in a great match for the World Title, and back then Joe even became the longest reigning World Champion in company history...but the booking of Joe's title reign just sucked. Good matches, sure, but awful booking.
So yeah, so-and-so can win a title, or wrestlers x, y, and z could all get bigger pushes than they had gotten before, but that in and of itself doesn't mean very much if the execution of the booking is lacking.

1) A one-year title reign by CM Punk, one of the most over guys with the 'smarks' in recent history 2) Daniel Bryan in a prominent position as the tag team champions with a lot of promo and ring time 3) A guy carrying the Money in the Bank briefcase for ages without rushing his cash-in, and without a ton of 'false starts' teasing a cash-in -- and without it seeming truly essential to his character or his position on the show 4) John Cena not holding the title for a long, long time -- and often (including currently) not really in the title picture 5) A soon-to-be Orton heel turn, apparently 6) Triple H hardly ever showing up and not burying anyone for quite some time 7) A fresh face (Ryback) put into the main event scene because he was over (yes, Cena was injured, but they could have easily pushed someone not as over into that slot) 8) A revival of sorts of the tag team division 9) A secondary belt-holder (Cesaro) getting a slow build with mic time to make the belt seem and the guy holding it seem more over, without it being shoved down our throats 10) Dean Ambrose If you go back a year or so and look at this forum (or probably most any forum devoted to WWE), this is like a wish-list of what people have said they wanted. I remember post after post about hot-shotting belts and short title reigns, doing something with the tag division, getting Cena out of the title picture and Triple H off of our televisions, pretty much all of that -- well, Dean Ambrose is a more recent phenomenon, but ... he's Dean Ambrose, so there. So why is everybody so unhappy? Haven't read the whole thread so it may have been addressed, but I completely disagree that "everyone" is unhappy. It just seems that it's nothing but complaints because you don't see half a page of appreciation. I believe people post a lot to complain about things, and quite frankly I think this board has slowed down considerably in the past 6 months or so. A lot of long standing complaints on this board have been addressed by wwe.

I can only speak for myself, but personally, it's because all of these accomplishments (though great) will always have an asterisk next to them.
Punk is year-long WWE Champ (*company lost faith in him as a face, are half-assing his heel run) Daniel Bryan in prominent position (*Shunted him quickly back down the card after losing faith/never having faith in him as World Champ) Ziggler with MITB (*Booked as a loser 9/10 times) John Cena not holding title (*still more prominent on TV than title-holders) Triple H hardly showing up (*Hijacking angles and TV time when he does)
The other points are more or less fair, but it's these main ones that have caused me to lose faith, personally. It's the kind of thing where I want these guys who I love to be seen as legitimate as The Rock or Stone Cold were in their day, and I feel like that the way that WWE is portraying them is the exact opposite of legitimate.

1 – I find CM Punk to be terribly boring and usually change the channel when he comes on unless I know one of my favorites is going to be in the same segment as him. 3 – It doesn't matter how long Dolph holds the briefcase. As long as he loses 90% of his matches he's not going to be a credible champion when he does eventually cash in. 4 – I would much rather have Cena as champion than Punk. 5 – Randy Orton as a heel is one of the most boring wrestlers, in the ring and on the microphone, I have ever seen. As a face at least he has better matches, doesn't get enough mic time to bore us and isn't pushed so hard. 6 – Triple H not showing up is a negative for me and makes me less inclined to watch since he's one of my favorites. 7 – I think Ryback is pretty bad and his main event match produced maybe the worst HIAC match ever. 9 – Cesaro is boring and still isn't really over despite doing nothing but win since the day he debuted.
So yeah, the only points that are positives to me are 2 and 8. And I can't comment on 10 because I don't know anything about Dean Ambrose.
And I'm not sure why anyone would think WWE right now, of all times, is producing a product that should make everyone particularly happy when the ratings show that, if anything, right now is the LEAST satisfied the majority of fans have been in years.

Basically the IWC are a gathering of spoilt brats who think they know better whatever is happening in the product.

Basically the IWC are a gathering of spoilt brats who think they know better whatever is happening in the product. Yes, that damnable hive mind that has the same opinion on everything that happens. If a product sucks, it sucks. To other people, that very same product might be perfectly entertaining. C'est la vie.
