Hey, everyone knows when you get into the best you usually get the lead choices of Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time, with fringe support for Majora's Mask and depending on where you ask Wind Waker or Minish Cap. Why not ask for the worst instead?
Left out things like the CDi games, Link's Crossbow Training, and the Tingle games in the interest of fairness and keeping it interesting. As for what version is what, like with Link's Awakening DX or Ocarina of Time 3D, just go with whatever judgment you want on that.

Can't decided between the Four Swords games(they are honestly only good when playing with other people, if only for dicking them over), and the DS Zelda games.
Yeah Zelda II is the least like the rest of the core games, but that doesn't make it BAD. It is actually pretty good, if pretty damn hard.

Out of the ones I've played (All of them bar the NES ones.) Gotta be Twilight Princess.
With favorite being OOT or SS depending on how I'm feeling that day.

I do think Twilight Princess is pretty flawed, but I think it has some great dungeons and bosses plus its story is actually kind of interesting. Wouldn't call it one of my favorites, but I'd put it head and shoulders above Spirit Tracks, the Four Swords games, or, personally, Skyward Sword. Speaking of, that'd be my choice. It's not that it doesn't have its perks, but I think it's the only game in the series where I have to in between every time I play it spend months reminding myself that I paid $70 counting the Motion Plus for it so I need to finish it. And I'm really intending to sell it just as soon as I get around to it, which at the rate I'm going - had it since December and just after the third dungeon - will probably be like a year from now.

Just the over all look of the game I guess I didn't like, also the wolf parts, it's not that I really hate the game it's just my least favorite. I think the reason I don't have such a hate for Skyward Sword is because I didn't have to spring the extra money on the motion plus.

Phantom Hourglass. I had more fun with the online mode then the game itself.

Wind Waker. I'm just not a fan of the game's setting. Skyward Sword's not that far behind for the same reason.

I've only played the console games, but of those I'd place the two NES games at the bottom of the list. Not sure which I'd consider worse though.
As for the Twilight Princess vs. Skyward Sword debate, TP is worse. Much worse. Even forgetting things like the shoehorned wolf mechanics, the items that serve no purpose outside of the areas you find them in, and the terrible "bug hunts" (which sort of returned in SS, albeit significantly improved), it's absolutely stunning how little effort was put into the dungeon designs. The only one I would consider great is the Snowpeak Ruins. Most of the others are decent but unspectacular. The Water Temple and the City in the Sky are downright awful.
Skyward Sword fixes most of the problems that TP had while introducing a couple of new ones. You can tell there was a concerted effort to make the dungeons feel fresh and interesting this time around, and I would argue that these are the most consistently excellent dungeons in the entire series. That alone is enough to make it a better game than TP.

I voted Zelda 2.
I would be interested in hearing the reasoning behind someone voting OOT as the worst.

Zelda II was also my favorite. Just because it was different did not make it bad. In fact, I think it was far more accessible due to its sidescrolling set up.

While I don't think I'd call it my favorite - I lean toward Majora's Mask on that - I have a hard time seeing how Ocarina of Time could be the worst. Other than maybe the fact that they can't stop heavily homaging it and it's getting annoying.

Most people who criticise OOT do so because the core mechanics feel somewhat dated compared to the later 3d games, but I would still argue that it's better game than any of them, if only because there's very little that feels like filler. No pointlessly long tutorial section, no boring scavenger hunts or fetch quests between dungeons, cutscenes are relatively short, etc. The whole thing just flows at a really good pace. Plus the game is actually, y'know, challenging. It doesn't feel the need to hold your hand through everything.

Zelda II. Just a weird follow-up to the original, not unlike Super Mario Bros. 2. SMB2 was a lot better though.
And shame on whoever voted Wind Waker.

Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks for those awful touchscreen-only controls.

Zelda II is a great game.
Anyone who finds it hard is someone who must not have been a fan of the 8 bit era...it's not much harder than most of the games of that era. Hell, I'd consider it easier than any of the Megamans or Castlevanias. And I don't give a damn if it's a "departure" because only one game was made before it. It was far more innovative than LTTP, which I also consider a great game.
I voted Skyward Sword. I've never played a Zelda where I was less than thrilled to boot it up and continue on. I don't like the saturated colors and I'd prefer a Zelda that I could just pick up and not have to spend 2 f***ing hours or more trying to "just get into it". Give me a game that doesn't try to hold my hand as if I can't figure out the controls on my own.

Not really a huge Zelda 2 fan myself, but I do give it its due and I do see what they were going for. Besides that, I really think the 3D games feel more like it than they do the 2D ones.
