Have you or anyone you know had a baby eaten by a dingo? No but it is not uncommon for dingoes in tourist areas to be very aggressive to humans. Feeding them is a punishable offense in many places as they stop hunting & rely upon handouts from humans. Sometimes when they don't get the food they attack. When I was in high school we went on a week long field trip to Fraser Island en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fraser_Island we were supposed to camp there. However about 6 weeks before we went a child was attacked by a dingo so we ended up staying in cabins instead.

I was camping in the NT a while back and had a Dingo stalk through the camp-site. Was nuts! No babies were present, but if there were they would've been eaten immediately.

With the amount of deadly creatures in your country and in the surrounding waters, how are you all not dead? Are you all immortal?

With the amount of deadly creatures in your country and in the surrounding waters, how are you all not dead? Are you all immortal? We have concrete running through our veins! But seriously it's about education. If you live in a place with dangerous creatures you get educated about them from a young age. I'm sure it's the same in America if you live somewhere you might encounter bears, rattlesnakes or mountain lions. It's just that our deadly creatures are smaller & can be found in your shoe! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sydney_funnel-web_spider

Is it Aspirin or Cat Food that they use to kill Cane Toads? Recently scientists have been experimenting with Meat Ants as a predator for damn cane toads. Fortunately they haven't reached Sydney but my friends in Queensland tell me that a golf club or cricket bat are favored methods of dispatching cane toads.

I know Ricky Ponting just retired from test cricket, how big of an event was it and is it comparable to any type of American sports retirement?

Do you ride Kangaroos to school/work? Sadly no, I drive a Mitsubishi, my wife drives a Subaru. You do see them around though. I was playing golf a few weeks ago, the course was about 25 miles from the centre of Sydney & I saw several Kangaroos & Emus on the course.

Massive event, he was given a guard of honor by the opposition when he came our for his last inning. I guess you could compare it to when Derek Jeter decides to retire.
