Are most Australians fans of our sports teams . Knicks fan how did that happen ? Amongst my friends most of them follow the big sports (MLB, NBA, NFL) I also follow NHL, NASCAR and have a passing interest in UFC. The reason I'm a Knicks fan is really coz of wwe. The first wrestling tape I ever watched was wrestlemania 1 so I started following the Knicks and rangers coz they play at msg. So by default I also picked ny teams for the other sports (yankees, giants) Sent from my HTC One X using proboards

How many Koala bears have you pet?
Do your Wallabys look like Rocco from Rocco's Modern Life?

What was the public/media's reaction when South Africa won the 3rd test and the test series? The general opinion was that RSA were the better team in the third test. But on balance AUS played better cricket in the series overall without being able to put RSA away in the first 2 tests. RSA took their chance in the third test and that's why they are world number 1. Addendum: are things that are down in the northern hemisphere up in Australia? Sadly what's up is the cholesterol and BMI of many Aussies. We have an obesity problem in this country. Sent from my HTC One X using proboards

None, you have to be careful, koalas have chlamydia, seriously. You can pet them at zoos but they make you wear a protective suit thing and disinfect after.
Wallabies look like mini kangaroos.

What is the biggest, most popular professional sport in Australia? And what teams/clubs are the most popular/hated? In summer cricket rules. Everyone follows the national team. This summer we have played South Africa already and we are starting a series against Sri Lanka today. The best 25 cricketers are.contracted to the national governing body and the top 5 easily make over $1 million a year before outside endorsements. In many ways the captain of the Australian team is more recognized than the prime minister. In winter the two football codes are king. In NSW and QLD rugby league(nrl) is the most popular sport. In the other states AFL is king. However this season the rugby league champions are Melbourne and the AFL champions are Sydney! The AFL has bigger crowds at games but the nrl has larger tv ratings. In the AFL Collingwood have more members but are also everyone else's.most hated team. In nrl manly are the team everyone wants to see lose every week although in recent years Melbourne have become quite hated as thet got caught blatantly cheating the salary cap and had two titles stripped by the league. Do you those two Aussie girls I met in a bar 2 years ago. You know one was blonde the other was brunette. So why was the brunette one being a bitch while I tried to chat the blonde one up? I mean it seemed to go well til they both left to use the bathroom. So again what was the deal?

Do Aussies like fried chicken? I had KFC for lunch. It is very popular, KFC was one of the first fast food chains to open here (late 1960's I think).

Is Outback Steakhouse authentic at all? And is there one in Australia? Yes there are Outback Steakhouses here but pretty much everything on the menu isn't what I would call authentic except for the basic steaks I suppose. Until I went to outback I had never heard of a blooming onion.
