In the AFL Collingwood have more members but are also everyone else's.most hated team. In nrl manly are the team everyone wants to see lose every week although in recent years Melbourne have become quite hated as thet got caught blatantly cheating the salary cap and had two titles stripped by the league. Sent from my HTC One X using proboards Still jealous because a Melbourne Storm that lost its best players and weren't playing for points and still won nearly every single match.

No not at all I'm sympathetic to most of the players. I'm an Eels fan & we were cheated out of a premiership by an illegitimate team. Plus Cameron Smith & Billy Slater are pimples on the backside of the world.

Is Australia as dangerous as Cracked.com makes it out to be?

We don't have thanksgiving. The whole doomsday thing is viewed the same. Most people dismiss it but there are a few crazy people. Our Prime Minister actually recorded a joke state of emergency apocalypse video that is on youtube.

Is Australia as dangerous as Cracked.com makes it out to be? No, we do have all of the deadly creatures but most of them are in the middle of nowhere. Australia has 7 of the top 10 most venomous snakes in the world but I have only ever seen any of them in zoos. We do have to be careful of spiders though. Particularly the Redback Spider, Sydney Funnel Web & the White-Tailed Spider

Why do you guys have almost all of the good electro-indie groups? We have a damn good live music scene. My local pub has good live music at least once a week & it is usually acts that are local.

I hear Gloria Jean's Coffee is held in high regard. True?

I hear Gloria Jean's Coffee is held in high regard. True? It's probably the more respected coffee chain. Aussies prefer it over Starbucks by tons but it's still a long way behind going to a good cafe.

I hear Gloria Jean's Coffee is held in high regard. True? I go no where near the place. But that is more of a personal choice in regards to the people that own & run the business.

Is Luc Longley a national hero? Do kids who weren't around when he was winning titles even know who he is?

I keep these guys (zebra finches) as pets, and I know they're indigenous to Australia. Are they as common as sparrows in the cities or do you have to go out of town to see them?

I keep these guys (zebra finches) as pets, and I know they're indigenous to Australia. Are they as common as sparrows in the cities or do you have to go out of town to see them? They're native to Central Australia which is 74% desert and an additional 25% bushland. So they're a long way away from any town to visit outside of Alice Springs and maybe Cooper Pedy.

The only place you see them in cities is in backyard cages like my dad has. He has had finches for years.

More serious question than my previous ones: considering Australia is part of the Commonwealth, how attached to the crown of England are most Australians?

More serious question than my previous ones: considering Australia is part of the Commonwealth, how attached to the crown of England are most Australians? Less & less, it's very much a generational thing. My grandparents generation (born 1920's & 1930's) were very staunchly in support of the monarchy. However as time has gone on we have become less attached. Partly due to the large amounts of immigrants from non traditional areas (South East Asia, The Middle East). I know none of my friends are in support of the Crown. My wife's parents (who were born in Taiwan) find it completely alien that our head of state is not Australian.
