I'll always have a soft spot for Batman & Robin, mainly because we had a 20 page thread of us watching it when it was on TNT one time. officialfan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=ot2010&action=display&thread=284561In all seriousness though, it is a bad movie. But the unintentional comedy more than makes up for it. I haven't seen Bucky Larson (I would never want to force that on anybody, let alone myself), but I'm going to assume it's automatically worse based on the commercials I saw for it (same goes for Jack & Jill). Jack and Jill wasn't too bad. Pacino carried it to levels of respectability which is more than Bucky and Bat Nipples can say.

You must have not seen very many movies then. It's certainly disappointing, but worst movie of all time? I could probably come up with at least 100 movies that are much worse than B&R.

Please watch Rollerball (the Chris Klein/LL Cool J version from 2002).
Actually, don't. It's the first movie I ever walked out on (I've only ever walked out on/asked refunds for a couple), which I was a big deal at the time since I was 15 or 16 and being driven to the movies by my mom, so I had no way of getting home early.
Thank God for the Mortal Kombat 4 machine at Gahanna Cinemark 16 that day. 10x better than that piece of garbage (which strangely enough had Paul Heyman and Shane McMahon in bit parts).

The ONLY way I was able to make it through "The Star Wars Holiday Special" was because the original trilogy cast was in it. That movie is by far, worse than Batman and Robin could ever hope to be.

Thats not actually a film though, and even the OT cast and the Boba Fett cartoon didnt save it for me (heck, the highlight for me were the vintage 70s commercials).

Make no mistake, it's a bad movie; but it wouldn't crack the top one hundred worst movies of all time. There's loads and loads more terrible shit.
And Forever is not a good movie. Everything that's bad about and Robin, Forever has. It's impossible to objectively give one a pass and not the other. They're both shit.
Yet they're entertaining in their own way as well.
Both bad movies, not remotely near the " worst ever".

At least you can laugh at Batman and Robin. Catwoman is much worse because it just drags and it's so dull you can't even ridicule it.
Stay "cool".

You can't blame Schumacher for B&R turning it into what it is; the WB executives told him to make it "more toyetic" (his words).
Chris O'Donnell compared B&R to a toy commercial.

Both bad movies, not remotely near the " worst ever". My main reasoning for liking Forever over Batman and Robin goes back to casting. Val Kilmer is a much better Batman than Clooney could ever hope to be, there's no Ahnold in Forever, and there's no Uma Thurman to f*** things up. I mean, Forever isn't a fantastic movie - but, in my opinion, it's leaps and bounds better than Batman and Robin.

As a kid, it was the first movie that I knew was s*** as I watched it. Same here. I saw it in the theater and I don't know if it's that I had just gotten old enough to think critically a little bit about movies, or maybe it was just really that bad but it's my first memory of going to see a movie and thinking "wow, that movie kind of sucked". I didn't like Batman Forever as much as the first two and I was a little bit disappointed at the portrayal of the Riddler (I liked the character a lot and he wasn't quite so wimpy in the comics) but I still liked the movie enough to buy it on video and watch it several times. Looking back I can see how somebody might think it's just as bad, but I knew Batman & Robin sucked right away. Maybe the difference maker is that B&R has much more ridiculous casting choices.

Also forgot Tommy Lee Jones going OTT w/ Two-Face and Jim Carrey being Jim Carrey. As far as B&R is concerned, I pretty much nod my head with that, it's an awful movie, but it's so completely campy and terrible that there's some form of s***ty charm to it. Terrible, yes...but I've seen worse movies. I've seen worse movies IN THE THEATER! Yep. I saw this one in the cinema. Mostly known more in our house as the time my brother ran out because the opening part of the Bat logo shattering upset him. I just think somebody told him to just run before he caused pain to his eyeballs. And I watched all of Bucky Larson as well. It's not as torturous as one would have you think, but there still is no reason to watch it. I believe it's the first comedy I can remember where I didn't laugh once. And to me, that's worse than having a movie be outright awful. Because I have laughed at way worse out there. But no laughs at all. That's the worst act about this movie.

I did not like Tommy Lee Jones' performance as Two-Face in Forever at all. It really felt, to me at least, that he was trying too hard to copy Jack Nicholson's Joker.

The worst part is its pretty much killed Mr. Freeze in any Batman-media (aside from the comics). The only time i saw Mr Freeze depicted after this was on an episode of "The Batman" where he made ice puns that were WORSE than the ones in this film ("Have an Ice day!"), and that's all i can remember. And since Mr. Ice Pun is all people think of when they see the character, that likely kills his chances of being in any future batman movies (though a live action version of Heart Of Ice would be neat to see). I dunno if I'd agree that the puns were THAT bad, personally. I mean, if you think of it as Freeze either being insane or a sadist it kinda works. I think his chances of being in film is probably more hindered by the fact that Mr. Freeze isn't terribly realistic unless you make it either like Batman and Robin or something like Arkham City.

Man, I've seen so many awful movies that I doubt Batman and Robin would crack the top 10 of my list. It was bad, but not as awful as a lot of other movies.

Bat Credit Card. That's the legacy of this film. It was a one-second gag, and people still treat it like it was the crux of the entire movie. The Nostalgia Critic has a lot to answer for. Imagine if people dissected every bad joke he ever made to the same degree. The point of that joke was him over-reacting. Also, I like this film in the "I'm not taking it any more seriously than the actors were" sense.

I'd take Clooney over Keaton any day. At least Clooney's natural pimpness makes him a good Bruce Wayne. Don't like Keaton as Bruce or Bats.
Clooney just got stuck in very bad movie.

I agree on Jack and Jill, I thought it was going to be horrible after hearing the negative reviews but I actually really enjoyed it. It was a fun film. I haven't seen Batman and Robin in a few years, but from what I remember it was pretty bad but not the worst film I've seen.
