Yeah, and probably on the first date. Now real ,MATURE talk. No,i like it,it's different and quite refreshing We had many underdog divas and WWE showed they can't handle it.This is actually quite nice.

Yes. Mainly because she's such a horrible actress and everything she does is so overdone it just makes for really bad TV. AJ is like the female version of Hogan when it comes to crappy acting. It's to the point where I want to flip the channel or FF the DVR when her music hits. It's like AJ and Dolph were made for each other! I don't know what was supposed to be so appealing about AJ. That she acted 'crazy'? Eh, what do I know, I'm not into the Lolita fetish.

We get the joke, fellas. >___>
I love AJ and she's been great at playing her character, the problem like 90% of storylines in the past few years is.... booking. Obviously Creative has no idea what the hell to do with AJ despite there being tons of things to do with her.
Seriously, list of things she could do: Going for the Diva's Championship/feud with Eve Valet of Team Hell No Back in July, I wanted them to debut Dean Ambrose as her crazy ex-boyfriend... could have done something like this if The Shield wasn't around Actually feuding with Tamina
*sigh*

I don't mind her or how much she is on TV but for that much airtime, I feel like they could have developed at least one of her storylines before going in a completely different direction.

Her character for me is probably the most loathsome of any female for years. Even Vicki Guerrero doesnt do the things AJ does and i found myself rooting for her rather then AJ so i guess AJ is playing her role very well. Its clear AJ is a very good heel but who will give her any comeuppance? Shes to small to fight any of the guys, but theres not enough face divas to teach her a lesson.

I hate that the spunky AJ who actually wrestled since she was a wrestler, is now essentially playing a member of The Godfather's HO train.
Instead of a Divas division with Eve, AJ, Kaitlyn, Natalya and Naomi, wrestling and being involved in at least halfway decent storylines, were subjected to pretty much a 2 Divas division and these craptastic storylines involving AJ.

Not sure how I feel about turning AJ into an obnoxious black widow heel who's macked everyone. I think its stupid. She was pretty over. Especially when you consider how apathetic the crowd is to pretty much every other diva

Yes, I think the character sucks. The mega-push, the bad acting, the bad promos, and the damn skipping. Not sure how I feel about turning AJ into an obnoxious black widow heel who's macked everyone. I think its stupid. She was pretty over. Especially when you consider how apathetic the crowd is to pretty much every other diva What other Diva has come even close to getting the push that AJ has gotten? Of course she's going to be far more over than any other Diva, she's been shoved down our throats in a way no other Diva has.

She just seems to be a complete wildcard. I find it entertaining. Its a new direction for a Diva, which is nice.

Yet another victim of WWE's taking someone who has a unique appeal, and then proceeding to square-peg them into some terrible role they don't fit into, rather than just going with what worked or could work. It's funny, but WWE taking an actual interest in someone, is the worst thing creatively for a wrestler these days. We know the moment they do, any and all of what made you a fan of said wrestler in the first place is about to be drained and replaced with something horribly contrived, irritating and unlikeable.

Her character has to be one of the most annoying things that WWE has put forth in a long, long time.
I've seen that sort of "do anything to get attention, and then abandon a person once they get it for the new, next thing" person in real life situations, and they're just as annoying.

If this dissent against her is based on overexposure or bad writing, then I can say that I'm glad I stopped watching again. Between Karma Houdini AJ who nothing bad is ever allowed to happen to ever, and the unstoppable-even-when-he-loses John Cena, the main event scene is entirely impossible to enjoy. And that's basically the only game in town, the way they book everything else. Yes, I think the character sucks. The mega-push, the bad acting, the bad promos, and the damn skipping. And I agree with all of this. She's nowhere near talented enough or experienced enough to warrant the insane level of exposure that she's been given, especially when one considers that aside from some really lousy promos, what has she actually done on TV?

I'd rather see her as a contender in the divas division, her role is suited to someone who isn't very good in the ring but good at acting, like Maxine who they let go before AJ started this character.

She's a goddess and by far the best thing in the WWE right now - and has been ever since her push started. This forum is literally insane when it comes to her, I come on here all the time and just shake my head at how bizarre some of you guys are. Some serious women issues or something, that can be the only logical explanation.
Look at the post above for example. "What has she actually done" - I mean just listen to yourself.

I will say this: if a Diva mega-push is given to anyone, I'm glad its to a life-long fan who has taken the opportunity and ran with it (and who at least for the moment, still comes across as pretty humble). And I think too much credit/blame is given to creative: if you are a talentless charisma-void, the audience is going to reject you whether you are pushed down their throats or not. While there are a lot of Divas they should do more with, I don't think many would have succeeded with this push to the extent that AJ has. Anyway, to answer the main question, while I don't think that AJ's best value is as a heel, I do like the fact that they've given her a defined character. At least now, people are sure that they are supposed to boo her. And I do like that her and Ziggler are an over-the-top slutty heel couple in the tradition of Edge and Lita. PG, of course.

Yeah that's not condescending or elitist at all. Some people don't like her. Get over it. What has she actually done? Done a bunch of interviews and promos where she's given the focus irrespective of her performance? She hasn't wrestled any noteworthy televised matches. Sure, she has the ability, but hasn't demonstrated it. It's not like she's busted her ass in the indies any more than other female indie wrestlers who get pulled into the company. I just don't think she deserves it any more than anyone else, and it becomes a real problem when talented people like Nattie are doing jack shit and she gets everything handed to her.
