Figured this could go in WWE current since we have so many posters who were just kids during the Attitude Era.
Anyway, one that stands out to me is Roddy Piper's pre-match promo at the 1992 Royal Rumble. It went something like...
"He's one of the original Village People. The first thing The Mountie wants to take away is my integrity. I ain't got no integrity, how do you think I got so far? The second thing he says he's going to take away from me is my manhood. Well, I came here to wrestle I don't know what you came here to do, pal. You must be dreaming and I think it's been a little wet too."

The many references American sports and the type of American pop-culture that doesn't cross the pond, actually that's still true today except it's explained on here.

I was watching RAW with my nephew (14 at the time) and CM Punk said "I'm straight edge", and my nephew responded with "I don't like this new Edge, I liked the old one better I don't care if he was gay."
I don't know if it went over his head, or if he just massively misinterpreted the statement.
Either way, it's a moment I'll never forget.

Never interpreted it that way before. -Sunny days comment -Some HBK promo towards British Bulldog, "I guess we know who wears the pants in that relationship." -Goldust's homo erotic gestures

Any of Val Venis' promos. Particularly this one: "All rise...to the Big Apple. I came. I saw. And then I came again."
At first, I thought he meant coming back to New York. Boy, was I wrong.

Pretty much every Goldust promo from 1995-96. Granted I was 6 years old at the time, but I look back at it now and think about how subversive his character was.

It wasn't WWE, but I didn't understand this line from Paul Heyman in 1992:
"The only sacrifices women make is when they're 16 in the back of their boyfriend's car!"
(I was only 9 at the time.)
