Actually, the one cliche I do like is the snob laugh:

I love the snobby female villain laugh. It is glorious.

having just watched the Rurouni Kenshin movie, All I can is, it is glorious. A bit shoe horned as they fit in like... 4 arcs into a 2 hour movie but well worth watching at least once.

First Tsundere girl wins in EVERY HAREM ANIME EVAR!! That's usually because the first tsundere is usually the first girl met and usually the first girl wins. Rarely will the last girl win, though. Any girl other than first or last is just there to fill out the harem/provide romantic tension. My gripe is why is mostly the supposed ideal girl is always kinda ditzy childish?

Tsunderes are not the ideal girls, Yamato Nadeshikos are. It's just that tsunderes are easier to write for since their behavior is rather straight foward and makes for, usually, a nice relationship with the main character. Snob like characters and yamato nadeshikos and everything in between need a bit more of attention and a bit more quality writing, so it's easier for creators to just put the tsundere in the "main love interest" spot.

I actually saw another anime yesterday... Rio: Rainbow Gate!.
Personally, it wasn't any good at all. The storytelling wasn't that impressive, the jokes aren't at all entertaining (even for Japanese comedy), and the characters aren't compelling.
BTW, I'm finally getting my first-ever anime figure as early as tomorrow. It's Nena Trinity. I'm bringing this up, because I want to ask if anyone remembered what their first anime figure was, if you ever bought any?

My first few anime figures are amongst the ones on the top shelf. I don't remember which one in particular was my first as I bought a small handful of them from my first anime con in 2006. I also say most of my collection as I've ran out of room on those shelves to have the rest of them to be included. And yes, on the bottom shelf that is one of those infamous perverted Woody figures that I have posed with his hat covering his crotch. If you want any confirmation on any of the figures on display you can just ask me and I'll confirm or deny it.

I see a Cyborg 009 in there. Very underrated. There are 3 009 figures in there, actually, and two of them have 2 characters each on them, so all told 5 of the cyborgs are represented. They were an incredible deal, too. Each figure was a $4 blind bag that I got from a toy store at the local mall that has a wall of Japanese blind bag figures.
