His character is immensely entertaining in that pantomine villian kind of way. His matches are pretty boring though. This. I love his character and his non-wrestling segments but I haven't enjoyed anything he's done in the ring really. I look at his move set as kind of throw back, not super flashy but tough and believable. Like a lot of the wrestlers in 80's were. I am not sure thats what they are going for, but thats the vibe I get..

He's pretty good in the ring and he plays a great obnoxious heel, but they really need to turn him up a notch and either make him act nastier towards people or make him out to be more of a phony intellectual.
It's one thing for fans to appreciate his performances, but WWE needs to be careful that he doesn't start getting cheered so they're not forced to turn him face too quickly. At times he just comes off as a smart, slightly arrogant guy, and crowds aren't going to boo someone just for being arrogant nowadays. WWE needs to make it more obvious that he either doesn't know what the hell he's talking about, or just go full-bore Bob Backlund with the character.

I have more of a feeling of apathy than dislike towards him. He's not terrible, but he's not that great either.
