No. A guy I cannot stand against one of my favorites in a match he'll most likely lose and look like an ass in doing so.

Punk wont look like an ass.
I wish more people would just for a little bit, get into it all as a fan. Not going off on all the business aspects, but as a fan. Root for who you like better. I can understand Punk fans for not wanting Punk to lose and thats what its all about. If you like them both, like me, hell even better. Not worry so much about whos gonna so called look bad, not worry so much about how Rock shouldn't be in the title picture, not worry so much about how its so predictable or that its gonna lead to Rock/Cena two, not worry so much about what you think is right or wrong for business. You guys just constantly set yourselves up for disappointment.
We are having the freaking Rock vs CM Punk. Even if you dont like one of the two, its still two big names competing over the companies biggest prize. Finally, we are having a title match that is going to be huge. Nothing going on right now is even close to this magnitude, especially in the bland and slow state of the WWE today.
CM Punk said it best.
"The match with Rock could be the biggest of my career. It could be. I look forward to things like that. I set goals and I like to reach them and accomplish new things. Doing the same ol' thing every day gets boring. I'm all about new challenges, new opponents. If me vs. Rock is the biggest match of my career, then I have something to look forward to; I have something to get out of bed for in the morning; I have something that motivates me in the gym to get better, to be better so that when I face The Rock, I am the best. "Its a Hell of an opportunity for myself. I think it's a big match, everyone's gonna watch it, and I'm going to prove why I'm the best in the world. And it's a high pressure situation, I love that, it's great. I just hope he's ready."
Doesnt get much better than that.

If there was a middle option, I'd vote for that. I'm honestly feeling meh on it right now. Maybe when they actually start interacting with each other, I'll get interested. But right now, I just don't care.

Yeah, but I'd much rather it be Hollywood Rock/Nation Rock vs. Pipebomb Punk. I feel like Rocky is going to get eaten alive on the mic after Cena rightly handled him in their feud. Neither Rock or Cena handled each other in the feud tbh. It was all a mess from both sides that went on for an entire year. Rock will be fine with Punk. They arent sending these guys out there to just kill each other on the mic with no plan.

This match is going to get more of a 50/50 split in support than Rock/Cena did even though they actively tried to make nobody support Punk.

Hell yeah! This is more of a big dream match for me than his one with Cena last year.

Yep. The Rumble will be my first PPV ordered since Money in the Bank 2011 because of it.

Not really. I'm sure it'll be good and fun and I'll enjoy myself, but I'm not really excited about it all. I was a huge Rock fan, but in the past couple of years, he just hasn't electrified me. His stuff feels so generic.... come out, huge pop, Finally!!, town pop, new catchphrase, crowd chants it as Rock looks pleased with himself, gay insult, rinse repeat until the match and we don't see him again for a while.
If he loses, it won't be clean or he'll win the title, both outcomes I don't really care for. If he does win, we're looking at Rock/Cena 2, since Cena announcing he's entering the Rumble is pretty much him telling us he's going to win it.

What kind of material will rock have for punk? The same material he's had for the past decade likely.

No. I can't get the inevitability of Punk losing out of my head. ^^

Not really. I'm not Punk's biggest fan and I've been over Rocky for a long time. Match should be good though.

More than anything else this year! Bad joke aside I am looking forward to this 200% more than Cena vs Rock at WM

Yes and no. The Rock is all sleeper holds now going by his match with Cena. Rock will entertain on the mic but the match will be disappointing.

Not really. It'll seem forced and awkward and I'm not looking to having a part timer as champ.

I'm excited to see them work together, but I'm also very pessimistic about the outcome and what it means for WrestleMania. I have no desire to see The Rock used as a transitional champion to give the title back to John Cena, I don't want to see Punk's reign end at the hands of someone who gains nothing from it, I don't want to see Cena with the title again, and I don't want to see Punk edged out of the true main-event of WrestleMania, because he's earned that spot.
