Online or Console
This is in light of the Winnie The Pooh Derby thread which I will never touch that game, and in light of my experience
Folks, no matter what anyone says.....if you go on Facebook and hear of a game called Candy Crush, run. This game is addicting but once you get to a certain level past the tutorials, you are completely SOL
Also, I have ragequitted Guitar Hero 3 many times because of the final level before you get to Lou
Number of The Beast - Can Pass Pretty Well Cliffs of Dover - Can pass on a good day Raining Blood - I get to a certain point, but seeing as this song is hard as f***, I don't mind One - WAT THE f***! I always somehow fail during the solo, and this is what made me RQ
So folks.....share your stories

Hmm, let me think for a second. *Looks over at game collection* Yeah, all of those. Seriously, though, quite a bit - mainly wrestling and FPS, the latter being online ragequits.

I want to say it was Wrestlemania 2000 (maybe No Mercy?), I was trying to win the rumble in the season mode. The 25th person to come down was Stephanie McMahon... who promptly countered a Kane haymaker with a slap that sent me back like 6 steps and flipping out of the ring.

Never got past the first stage with Kingdom Hearts. Never got past the second with Metroid Prime. Everything else, I've finished and finished a few times.

The only time I've ever quit during an online game is when there's some hacker on Team Fortress 2.

I don't think there's a game I haven't ragequitted at some point. In fact, I think my NES filed a restraining order against me because of repeated assault and battery.

Knights was really easy for me 3s and 7s was tough, but it was more about paitence that not being able to pass it That's actually what got me mad with GH3 is so many songs need paitence. Story of My Life and Slow Ride are included The hardest songs for me are Level 7 in Stricken (f*** that solo) and Cult of Personality (Again, f*** that solo)

I haven't played Guild Wars 2 in a while becaue I can't get a character past level 10. They seem to send me on quests that are like 3 or 4 levels ahead of me.

As a rule, I suck at games... and never end up able to finish a good chunk of them.
However, I don't consider any of that ragequitting as much as just losing interest. I DO consider what I did to Demon's Souls ragequitting. I actually sold it just because I got so pissed, I couldn't stand the sight of it anymore.

Twisted Metal single player, PS3. I just recently started back playing it again. And this was on Normal Mode with the Iron Maiden stage.
Another one I RAGEQUIT recently was God of War: Ghost of Sparta on the PSP. The miniboss fight with the two glowing dudes respawning is insane on God Mode.

DC Universe Online is probably the only one because playing with "elitest" types is monumentally frustrating sometimes.

I have rage quit over Jordan in GH 2 and have only beat it one time. Also rage quit Winnie the Pooh HR derby b/c of Christopher Robin. To hell with that shit

You shall likely all laugh at me, but Driver on the PSOne. I couldnt pass the driving test in the basement of the police station. That was annoying as hell. The checklist seemed to be completely arbitrary for a lot of it. There aren't many games that I own that I haven't gotten really frustrated at some part or another and turned it off. I just see that as part of the normal gameplay process. I suppose you'd consider what I used to do on Starcraft as Rage quitting. WHen it was clear that I'd lost, I'd quit, but to me it was always because I'd rather concede and go on to the next game then sit there an extra 20 minutes while they hunt down and destroy every gathering unit and building.

Supply Lines In GTA San Andreas was a nightmare. I wonder what went wrong in the life of the person who designed that mission because whoever it was, he/she is one miserable son of a bitch.
I must have tried to beat that mission about 40 times. At one point the idea of throwing the remote through the tv felt like the most sensible and satisfying thing to do. I'd eventually give up on the game but I kept going back to it because I just had to beat the damn thing.
I eventually beat it but it's one mission I'll never forget.
