Boiled my 72-pin connector, removed the lock-out chip.... now my NES is playing... a little bit better.
I'm pretty sure it was just absolutely beaten to shit before I got it, but it's starting to behave more for me.
On the other hand, my Zelda battery finally gave up the ghost.

Last weekend, found a pawn shop that is in walking distance from my dorm room. Picked up
Super Star Wars Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Pac Man 2 Frogger (in really bad condition, but it works.)
And I bit the money bullet, saved up weeks of singing at a local church to buy Chrono Trigger. 83 bucks. That is probably the absolute limit I will pay to buy an SNES game.

I got several "newer games" recently;
The Ninja Warriors for SNES Robotron for N64 Snowboard Kids 2 for N64 Dark Cloud for PS2 Dark Cloud 2 for PS2 Rogue Squadron: Rogue Leader for Gamecube Super Monkey Ball 2 for Gamecube
Oh, and I finally beat Ninja Gaiden. While not a great game, it's okay. I don't even consider it THAT tough, it's more the annoyance of a few of the poor controls, as well as Tecmo not realizing what constitutes as fair. The horseshit of getting hit and then sticking to a wall was a massive pain in the ass, as was having to start the level from the very beginning if you died on the boss, lord knows how many times I had to restart from the last 2 guys. The spawning enemies could be a problem, but at least it's not as bad as Rygar...another sadistic Tecmo title. Way to ruin otherwise great games with things that don't enhance the gameplay at all.
The only hard notable game on the NES I have left that I want to beat would be Battletoads, and I'm not looking forward to that. I also own Solomon's Key...but f*** that, I'm not going to ever beat that bastard. I guess the same applies to Rygar considering enemies repawn right where you killed them.
So as far as games I own,I'm at;
233 NES games 122 SNES games 16 Gameboy games 31 N64 games 81 PS1 games 44 PS2 games 16 Gamecube games 14 Wii games
Of those games, I've maybe beaten 100 of them. As far as buying anymore? Only 123 games until my collection is complete.....unless I decide to add anymore.

I wonder if the prices on NES/SNES/64 games will ever come down NES is dropping a bit, at least here in the UK. However, SNES has skyrocketed.

Just a slight rant after buying 2 Gamecube games back to back online recently.
If you list a game as "like new" then when I receive it, it should be "like new". That means no scuffs, bumps, rips, scratches, smears, dirt or warping to any included. I might let it go if there is something minor, but don't f***ing lie about it. And don't say you don't accept returns either and that I should have examined the game more closely in the pictures. That's bullshit. I don't want to own something that you apparently didn't take care of, nor do I want to pay a price for it that it's not worth.
They also try to spin it to a degree that they said the game "plays like new". You mean as opposed to not working at all? If the disc doesn't run or if there are issues with it freezing, then it's f***ing broken. This isn't a f***ing car where there could be 20 things wrong with it, it's a disc that either works or doesn't work.
Get your heads out of your asses, sellers. Quit trying to f***in scam good people who are willing to buy your games as long as you're honest with them.
