So what is the WHC match at Wrestlemania?

So, RUMORZ the past few months have pointed towards Ryback/Show, Orton/Sheamus, and Ziggler/Del Rio all being possible WHC matches at Wrestlemania. But as of now, the situation is currently:

Del Rio is champ and likely facing Big Show again at EC.

An EC match for the number 1 contendership, something like any combo of Orton/Kane/DB/Swagger/Khali/Sheamus/?

Ziggler still has his MITB briefcase.

So, all 3 of the above rumored matches don't quite look possible for Wrestlemania, at least as the title matches, since I suspect Orton/Sheamus will happen without the title. Of course, 'surprise booking' would make any match possible if WWE wants it to go that way. A Ziggler cash in would almost garauntee a triple threat match, but otherwise, there's not one standout matchup that WWE has been building towards like they usually do.

So, taking account the current situation, which scenario do you see playing out?

Heard back in October that the plan for 2013 was Ziggler/Orton feuding over the summer so in thinking Orton takes the belt from Del Rio at Mania and Ziggler cashes in on him.

Orton/Sheamus doesn't need the title.

Ziggler/Del Rio/Big Show is probably the most likely, knowing how reluctant WWE is to put two "new" guys in a match together at Wrestlemania. I'm guessing they'll add Big Show to give it some measure of star power. Which it doesn't need at all.

I figure Ziggler is cashing in after the match. Never had anyone cash in at Mania before.

I've been saying Jericho/Ziggler for months but doesn't seem really likely now.

I could see Ryback beating Khali or Swagger to insert himself in the Elimination Chamber match, winning it then challenging Big Show/Del Rio at mania. I would like to see Ryback shell shock Big Show if he can. Maybe it doesn't need the belt though.

I don't think it'll happen for the WHC but I wouldn't be shocked to see a ladder match between them (for the WHC briefcase again) open the show and set up Dolph cashing in.

Swagger needs a solid year of rebuilding before putting him in that kind of role. Honestly I don't know what the SD main event for WM is going to be. It's a real mess at the top of that card right now. I think they almost have to do Ryback vs. Big Show as an undercard match at WM though. Sheamus vs. Orton can be on the undercard as well.

Maybe Swagger makes more sense than I initially thought. Kane/Bryan have the tag belts, Khali is a non threat, etc.

The problem with predicting is, that we have no idea who much confidence the WWE has on Del Rio to hold the belt for mania. The only logical match for him to have for the title is with Ziggy. The other issue is if the wwe wants to do Ryback vs Jericho at mania it leaves Show off the card which will be unfair to him after this great run he is on. So I think if I had to make a guess it will be Show vs Rio vs Ziggy for the title, with fella/orton undercarding.

As predictable as Rock/Cena stuff is, everything else on the card is up for grabs. We don't even know who the top heel is wrestling yet. I'm just gonna sit back and let it unfold.

It's really shaky. We could have Orton vs Sheamus, but I don't think they even trust Orton enough to feud for the WHC. Then I don't think they would waste Ziggler MITB and his little posse buildup just to have him hold it for 2 weeks and then drop to some match with some celeb or preshow Battle Royal at WM. I also don't think Show's gonna miss WM, or Del Rio. I don't think any of the people who are vying for the WHC (except for Khali because yeah, it's Khali) are gonna be left off the WM card. So it's gonna be interesting to see play out.

You've got a reason to continue Orton/Del Rio and the briefcase issue all solved at the same time.

You seem to be the only one to think that Ziggler having the briefcase is an "issue". And seeing as how Orton/Del Rio is already done to death, I don't think too many people would be all that interested in seeing them feud past Wrestlemania.

Championship Scramble with Del Rio vs. Orton vs. Sheamus vs. Barrett vs. Big Show. Del Rio wins, but Ziggler comes in afterwards and cashes in his MITB to become champ.
