The Great Khali is a former World Heavyweight Champion, has worked high profile programs with The Undertaker, HHH, John Cena, Big Show and Batista, has performed at 4 Wrestlemania's and been consistently promoted as world title threat in the near 7 years he's worked for the company. How in the hell is he not good enough for the Hall Of Fame? He never drove a limo. JBL will write an apology to Khali by the end of next week. "I like to apologize to the great country of India for my statement on Smackdown. The Great Khali will be headlining this year's Hall of Fame ceremony. I hope all 1,241,491,960 people that I may have offended. Sorry."

How in the hell is he not good enough for the Hall Of Fame? Because the time that Khali was booked as important was such a small blip in his career that most people don't even remember it. And outside of that time, he's never been seriously booked as a word title contender. Did anyone seriously think the Punjabi Playboy was going to actually win a title? Or the Khali now that's hanging out with Natalya and Hornswoggle? If Natalya can say with a straight-face that Khali reminds her of her grandfather Stu and uncle Bret, then I... I'm sorry, I can't even get to what Josh said without my eyes rolling back so far into my head I'll be crapping them out during my next bowel movement.

That was the final nail for me. Josh Matthews is awful. I liked him before and on AYS but he should never be lead commentator on a show. I can't stand his patronizing, buzzword laden commentary. His word choice is infuriating sometimes, and I love that JBL just berates him for saying dumb things. But, at the same time, I feel bad because I think Josh is just trying to be the announcer that Vince wants, and now there's this guy who seemingly has carte blanche to shit all over everything he says. I think the commentary is changing direction a bit and Josh needs to get with that.

Vladmir Kozlov had programs with Triple H, Undertaker and Cena too should he be in the hall of fame?

People are treating this like there's serious criteria for being in the HoF. It's not the Baseball or Football HoF. Drew Carey, a guy who was in the Royal Rumble for 3 minutes, is in the HoF (Granted, it's the celebrity "wing", but he's in there just the same.) I wouldn't be a bit surprised if WWE put Khali in the hall just to keep expanding it's market into India.

I, for one, would absolutely love to hear Khali's HOF speech.

You're right, he totally wasn't one of the most memorable characters and involved in some of the most beloved matches and skits in the Attitude Era. That was some other guy named Christian.

It's funny whenever people bring up the Baseball HoF as a counterpoint, when it's the only one that I know of that has had a major cronyism scandal to the point where it might as well have been the WWE HoF.

The only hall Khali should be near should be one where he's mopping the floor.
As for Josh Matthews, he should engage his brain before speaking.

Honestly, to me it sounded as if it was a planned thing between JBL and Josh, so that they don't have to talk about the match itself too much.

I refuse to believe Josh meant it. If there's a God, he did it solely because he knew JBL would just go insane angry. Otherwise, it's time to storm Josh's house with pitchforks and torches and destroy him for real this time......

WWE's Hall of Fame has no criteria or necessary credentials. It's all up to WWE. It was originally intended to honor past performers and employees of the company. WWE inducted some of the all-time greats from the company's history like Andre the Giant, Buddy Rogers, and Freddie Blassie as well as less notable names like Johnny Rodz, Baron Mikel Skikluna, and James Dudley.
In the 2000s when WWE relaunched the Hall of Fame it evolved to include more than just performers from the company's past. WWE honored non-WWE inductees like Verne Gagne and the Sheik, celebrities like Pete Rose and William Perry, and international stars like Antonio Inoki and Mil Mascaras. WWE continued to induct both the elite stars of the company like Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper, and Bret Hart as well as less prominent performers like Tony Atlas, Nikolai Volkoff, and Koko B. Ware.
With this in mind, there should be no question about whether Great Khali is 'worthy' of the WWE Hall of Fame. Of course he is. He had a successful run that lasted several years. That's enough even without the World Heavyweight Championship win. I think we should move from trying to decide whether someone is worthy of induction to determining the likelihood that WWE will induct someone.

There is no market in India. This, this and this. When's the last time they even toured India? Does WWE even still legally broadcast there? RAW, Superstars and Smackdown is broadcast on TEN Sports, according to Wikipedia.
