Well, that was great.
He tore Josh Matthews apart for that blunder, going from Bruno's HOF video to "and another future Hall of Famer" referring to Khali.
Man, JBL seemed genuinely pissed at that one.

That was the final nail for me. Josh Matthews is awful. I liked him before and on AYS but he should never be lead commentator on a show.

I think he really was pissed. Loved it when he said Hornswoggle had a better chance than Khali, because it just reinforced how ridiculous it is.

So what superstars are future hall of famers? Which ones could have come out and JBL not objected to?
-John Cena -Kane -Rey Mysterio -Randy Orton -Mark Henry -Big Show
Maybe -C.M. Punk -Booker T. -Christian -Cody Rhodes
What do you think?

Thing is, it's possible. The guy is huge in India to the point where they edited the shows over there when he was heel to make him seem like a face.

Maybe not the year after he retires like Edge or HBK, but I think he will be inducted at some point as long as he doesnt have some huge falling out with WWE.

This, he should go in for his tag team work alone (along with the others in the TLC6). Never mind the fact he has an incredibly successful singles career collecting many major titles both inside and out of WWE, a former 2 time World Champion (even more if you are counting outside of WWE), huge catalog of classic matches and has always been over. He has a rightful place, and I am not just saying that because I am a mark of his.

Punk -Booker T. -Christian -Cody Rhodes What do you think? I'm assuming you left out Taker, HHH because of their current PT .status. I'd add Show. And maybe Shamus. And since you added Booker let me add Hayman, Cole, JBL and Vickie.

Punk -Booker T. -Christian -Cody Rhodes What do you think? Cena, Orton, Rey, Kane, and Big Show have the credentials. Punk and Booker are likely. If we're looking at part-time performers: Rock, Brock, HHH, and Undertaker are all HOFers. As for non-wrestlers: Heyman and Cole will both get in. Vickie is likely to go in.

The Great Khali is a former World Heavyweight Champion, has worked high profile programs with The Undertaker, HHH, John Cena, Big Show and Batista, has performed at 4 Wrestlemania's and been consistently promoted as world title threat in the near 7 years he's worked for the company.
How in the hell is he not good enough for the Hall Of Fame?

While he wouldn't be a first balloter, based on his Undertaker and Cena feuds, Khali does have HoF credentials.

How in the hell is he not good enough for the Hall Of Fame? Overall arguments include limited moveset, immobility, and some fans on this board feeling like he's a waste of a roster space. However, I really like the guy, and while I don't think he's a HOF-worthy wrestler, I wouldn't be surprised if, 5 or 10 years down the road, he'll be inducted for being an international icon in his country and even appearing on movies and TV shows in America.

How in the hell is he not good enough for the Hall Of Fame? Because the time that Khali was booked as important was such a small blip in his career that most people don't even remember it. And outside of that time, he's never been seriously booked as a word title contender. Did anyone seriously think the Punjabi Playboy was going to actually win a title? Or the Khali now that's hanging out with Natalya and Hornswoggle?

JBL is definitely going in at some point, although he won't be the headliner.
