Decided against going because of snow as well. Results? Danny Havoc cut a promo talking about being back and how they were mentoring Connor Claxton. Also said that in honor of the CZW anniversary the three members of the Nation of Intoxication will fight each other in a deathmatch. Buxx Belmar defeated Pepper Parks to qualify for Best of the Best (This was Belmar's first win in CZW) Joey Janella defeated Sozio to qualify for Best of the Best (thank god) Drew Gulak destroyed Alex Colon in an open challenge after Colon once again refused to take responsibility for breaking Preacher James' s neck (they've been building a feud for when Preacher is healthy) Stockade beat Matt Tremont in a pretty good ultraviolet match. Tremont then challenged Stockade to a No Rope Barbed Wire rematch. Tim Donst came out cutting a promo about having cancer saying he may never wrestle again but hes going to fight. Joe Gacy defeated Mike Bailey Alex Reynolds could not make it due to weather so Johnny Silver and Rex Lawless-Silver got their little brother as a replacement; Chuck Taylor-Silver. The Silver "Brothers" beat Teat TREMENDOUS in an elimination tables match when Johnny Silver last eliminated Dan Berry. Blk Jeez defeated Chris Dickenson. Dickenson cut a promo after the match demanding a rematch At the next show. Hard hitting match Oi4k defeated the Young Bucks. Match was a lot of fun and involved the typical Super Kick Party. Even saw the refund Dan Yost play the part of Rick Knox and diving on to all for guys. The Bucks got a please come back chant. Lucky 13 beat Danny Havoc and Devon Moore after power bombing Moore from the top rope onto Havoc through a table. Show was decent enough but the weather caused a lot of issues throughout the day. The Arena's Internet kept going out so the ippv was choppy. I'm so glad that Janella got in over Sozio as I'm tired of Sozio being a thing we are supposed to take seriously. also based on what DJ said when asked looks like he and Stockade are now members of the roster. I know Janella is decent in New York, and it sounds like he has been busting his ass at Dojo Wars. Anyways with Donst out looks like there will be more reshuffling for Best of the Best. So far here's the lineup (minus Donst) Trevor Lee Jon Gresham Joe Gacy Mike Bailey Buxx Belmar Joey Janella Andrew Everett That's still 2 months away. Next show is Deja Vu and it'll be back at the Skate Zone

as someone who didnt buy their tickets early the convenience charge on the tickets at the arena didnt sit well with me. does anyone know why Biff isnt on the Anniversary show? Case of waiting for the right time to use him. He didn't like what was laid out for him after Cage of Death, so instead of just having him around doing nothing, he and DJ are going to come back to each other down the road. Plus with Biff opening his own school in New England his time has changed. Speaking of people not booked, apparently there has been a bit of bad blood between AR Fox and CZW. Long story short Fox took some bookings last year when he told DJ he was not going to be able to work. DJ has said the door is open for Fox to return regularly, but he's no longer going to save a spot on the card for him. And just to add DJ has consistently said that in indy wrestling do what you have to do to make money, but if you don't like what a booker has for you, it's next up. Thanks for the info. I saw on fb that Biff said he had some dates to fill including the date of the Anny show so I was wondering what the deal was. Sucks about guys like Fox,Biff,Juicy Product,Strickland not being in often, those are the guys that I enjoy seeing up here and are a big part of the reason why I drive down to see czw. That said I can't fault why they aren't around.

oh few other notes.
CZW student and one of the Dojo War standouts Connor Claxton will be doing a Deathmatch trial series going up against a member of the NOI each of the next 3 months. First up is Lucky 13.
Another Dojo War standout,Ryan Galeone (also known as Ryan Rush), is the new enforcer for the Front and took out Sozio.
So right now you are looking at 4 guys who have been doing Dojo Wars shows looking to become regulars to the roster; Rex Lawless, Joey Janella, Connor Claxton, and Ryan Galeone. Preacher James looked like he was gonna be before his neck injury (still might after he is cleared), and Quefka was making a lot of noise before his injury. I know guys like Sugar Dunkerton have done Dojo Wars Shows as well. It's a Drew Gulak project, and it seems to be helping a lot of guys and girls improve

Well, they are kinda well known for being very hard to please, so I can understand the frustrations of a wrestler feeling like they didn't get the respect they deserved.

I mean did they boo him or something? I assume not many people made the show as the snow here in Philly was pretty bad at that point

The Arena fans just didn't like Dickenson like the Skate Zone does.

I enjoy Galeones work in Beyond so its cool to see him in.
in regards to the crowd,it was decent size but there were some really totally obnoxious assholes there. some of it was alcohol infused sure but i felt surrounded by people who got off by just hearing themselves make the same lame comments over and over.

Well the majority of the Skate Zone crowd is not the same as the Arena crowd even if the distance is close (and funny enough a lot of Philly fans refuse to go to Vorhees because they don't serve alcohol). Honestly having been to both, while the Arena actually looks cooler now since it's been converted into an actual event venue and not just a werehouse, the Skate Zone is so much more comfortable.

This got to put CZW in a rough spot. Working the Arena gives them a larger, more aesthetically pleasing place than Flyers but the demographic is much more cynical in nature. Since Dickinson made a good first impression with ROH, he might take the plunge and move on from CZW.

Since Dickinson made a good first impression with ROH, he might take the plunge and move on from CZW. Well Dickenson has a bad temper so I'd take what he says as a grain of salt. My understanding is that while most love the Arena, people involved with CZW find the Flyer's Skate Zone a much more comfortable venue for both wrestlers and fans (and the Flyers really don't care what DJ does as long as they run it by them). But yes, it does tend to look like crap on ippv/dvds. Having Pancoast back with production helps a lot, but there are just some things you can't mask about the Skate Zone.

coming from central CT the Skate Zone is about 15-20 minutes closer than the Arena.
ive been to the Arena so many times it really has no special appeal to me.
i was wondering about the crowds being so different even though the two venues are so close.

Most of the time im not even willing to make the drive from 5 mins outside Philly. Props man, props

Most of it is the lack of alcohol at the Skate Zone (The Flyers said DJ could find an outside vendor, but doing that is a pain in the ass for him). But looking at all the pros and cons between the two, I understand the love for the Skate Zone

Saw a video today that looked like Chris Dickinson just about killed Kimber Lee. Is this old? I'm all for some hardcore stuff in the mix, but this looked scary.
