From the last thread: If we move the Bobcats to Seattle, you think Charlotte would mind?

From the last thread: If we move the Bobcats to Seattle, you think Charlotte would mind? I was at Charlotte last Saturday for a game and as bad as the Bobcats are, they have a very loyal fanbase. I wasn't expecting much of a crowd since they're so bad but it was a good crowd. Not a full sellout but it was probably 85-90% full.

Spurs announce Tony Parker to miss 4 weeks with a sprained ankle. The race for the #1 seed just got really interesting.

I don't watch NBA on ABC much, but are these guys as terrible as I think they are?

I don't watch NBA on ABC much, but are these guys as terrible as I think they are? Jeff Van Gundy is great because he has very little filter and he's not afraid to say precisely what is on his mind. Mike Breen, however, sucks. I understand that he's the voice of the league, but it's like listening to David Stern provide analysis. On more than one occasion, I've suspected Breen has Stern in his ear, not unlike how Michael Cole only says what Vince McMahon tells him to say. EDIT - If Chris Andersen had any more space on his body for another dumb tattoo, it'd have to say "Property of Amare Stoudemire" after that last dunk.

Kidd 4-4 from the 3pt line. Think that slump of his is over.

59-45 Knicks at the half. 37 points by the Knicks in the 2nd quarter.

what's the deal with this royce white? The guy has a crippling anxiety disorder that includes panic attacks, trouble sleeping, obsessive-compulsive disorder and most notably a debilitating fear of flying, that has led to him being unfairly excoriated as a prima donna. If the guy can receive genuine help for his disorder, he could return his focus back to basketball and he could easily be one of the better players from the current rookie class. He's a wildly talented player, but he probably needs to take the season off and find someone willing to help him get everything together.

He also likes to release stupid, insulting statements (including bringing up the Sandy Hook shooting comparatively to himself) and has a known attitude problem dating back to college where his disorder had much less effect (and therefore, less of an excuse) on his game. Solid player with issues is pretty much the bottom line. Incredibly stylish too.

White knew what he was signing up for when he signed his contract.
Also the refs seem not to be able to call a foul on the Heat in the fourth.

I'm not one to quote myself, but if you're watching the Knicks-Heat game right now and you read my previous post about the Van Gundy/Breen dynamic, you'd see how right I was.
Jeff Van Gundy calls out LeBron James for an unabashed flop that was no-called and Mike Breen not only protects LeBron but also the league as a whole, saying that the anti-flopping fines have essentially killed flopping in the league. Van Gundy responds by saying flopping hasn't stopped, the league just stopped fining players for it.
Why I love Van Gundy and loathe Breen.
