Man, what WOULDN'T that Portland GM give to go back to 2007 and change that draft pick... There's an alternate universe where he did pick Durant over Oden.

Moved on to 2009. Why do you people let me post here? Some more of my greatest hits..
"Nothing special about James Harden."
"Tyreke Evans will be the best guard in this draft."
I was thrilled beyond belief that the Nets got Terrence Williams.

Man, what WOULDN'T that Portland GM give to go back to 2007 and change that draft pick... There's an alternate universe where he did pick Durant over Oden. In that universe, Durant developed knee problems. Pretty minor since it was the Knicks in the mid-2000s but I thought Renaldo Balkman was a bad choice and they should've taken Marcus Williams even though I wasn't high on him but they needed a PG. Immediate results, Balkman's work ethic proved more valuable for a little while but he's largely been forgotten. He stayed in the league longer than Williams though who was gone after 3 years but now both are overseas.

I'll admit I thought the Magic was stupid for drafting Dwight Howard over Emaka Okafor, since Howard was unproven and Okafor was a stud in college.
And I wanted the Bulls to draft Spencer Hawes and was upset at them for picking Noah instead.
And for the top of the bunch: I hated the Bulls for drafting Derrick Rose over Beasley. I wanted a KSU player on the Bulls badly.
I should never make fun of Isiah Thomas or MJ's GM skills ever again.

Pretty fun game between the Heat and the short-handed Wolves. Lots of interesting calls, including a Flagrant 2 for JJ Barea, who was talking trash to the Heat when he left the game. I don't know what he said, but my guess is "My team beat you guys for the NBA Title, I got it before you guys did."

Some of my greatest Draft hits
- I thought Darko was going to become a good player.
- I also thought the Magic were stupid for taking Dwight Howard, and that Okafor was going to be the better player.
- I thought Beasley was going to be awesome.
- I thought that Kevin Love wasn't worth a top 5 pick.

So after blowing a 15 point lead against the Heat, The Knicks come back from 22 down to beat the Cavs tonight.

That wasn't a flagrant 2 in my eyes. Maybe a Flagrant 1, but not enough to get him ejected. I also think Allen embellished the contact a little bit. 2. Part of what Berea mouthed to Allen when he was walking off the court was, "You're a f***ing pussy."

LOL! I was about to post a diataribe on how I wish people would stop with these stupid unfunny videos, but that was great.
Seriously...this fad stopped being funny last month, around an hour after it started. It's worse than the Macarena.

And Kobe looks to have injured his shoulder. Admit it, which one of you put a voodoo on the Lakers?

Ibaka gets $25k fine but no suspension for the groin punch on Griffin. I think, as per the new rules, he couldn't be suspended. The refs on the floor ruled it a flagrant 1, and you don't get suspended for a flagrant 1.

Part of what Berea mouthed to Allen when he was walking off the court was, "You're a f***ing pussy." Yeah, it ended up being a Flagrant 1 after being reviewed by the NBA. It seemed to me that all the momentum the Wolves had towards the end of the game was taken away by the refs. I'm not saying that the calls were wrong, but the plays that the Wolves were called on for fouling the Heat offensively after Barea got ejected cost them a couple of big buckets.

Good freaking god, the Sixers.
And to think, they were 1 win away from playing Miami in the East Finals last spring.
