Seeing that picture just breaks my heart. I already said this in the WWE:FAN thread, but when I first started watching the WWF in the mid-90's, Bearer and The Undertaker were staples of the company for me. The first match I ever saw was Yokozuna vs. The Undertaker from Survivor Series 94. And I distinctly remember when I saw Bearer leading Undertaker to the ring with the urn, that's when I bought into the hype. I'm genuinely feeling a sense of loss right now. Last summer, I lost my uncle who got me hooked on wrestling and showed me this match. Now one of the prime reasons I got hooked is gone as well. RIP Paul Bearer You will be missed.

At this point in time, he's possibly the greatest WWE/F manager yet to be inducted into the Hall Of Fame, even before he died. It's a shame he won't be around to accept his rightful place in there alongside The Undertaker and Kane.

This is horrible. I was hopping he comeback with Taker or at less show up when it's Taker last match for sure. That and go into the Hall of Fame. This is such a shocker because I didn't think he was in anyway sick. I know he had surgery a few years ago and lost a ton of weight but I thought he was in good health and didn't have any problems.
RIP Paul

I'm stunned. I know he's been in bad health before, but he looked a lot better during his last WWE run a couple years ago.
The man was at some of the first wrestling events I ever saw, and I've always been a huge fan of his work.
Thanks for all the great memories, Paul.

For as long as pro-wrestling exists, he will be remembered.

I imagine they'll do some sort of tribute for him on Monday with Taker giving him a salute like they did for years together.

This is very surprising. Was he in bad shape in the days leading up to his death? Either way, RIP. There's no doubt that his legacy in wrestling has been cemented. He sounded like a great guy outside of the ring too.

Amazing manager, and from all reports a super nice guy. There was someone on here who told a really great story years ago about their grandmother passing, and Moody's funeral home doing the arrangements, and mentioning how it was kind of comforting that Paul Bearer was overseeing the funeral.
Absolutely agree there'll be a tribute Monday. Maybe Undertaker saluting an Urn in the middle of the ring before picking it up and leaving with it?
As far as Punk using it for cheap heat? Who knows. I imagine Paul would have been okay with it, so it really just depends on if Punk and Undertaker are okay with doing so.

He sounded like a great guy outside of the ring too. From what I read, he had been telling people the last few days he wasn't feeling well, and had canceled most of his bookings. The Hall of Fame has yet to induct a manager this year, and Slick can wait. RIP Paul Bearer.
