Undertaker's had a lot of WrestleMania matches, and they've all been against very different opponents, but which one was your favorite and why?
Personally, I think his last match with HHH was absolutely fantastic, so I have to vote for that one. The story, the atmosphere, the match itself, it was all great.

Thing is, Taker had some fantastic matches over the years with Flair, Orton, Batista and Edge.
Then HBK came along and they had a five-star-classic that overshadows all of those.

I think 25 vs HBK is the best.
I think 21 vs Orton is really underrated.

Michaels at 25 was beyond awesome, but nothing can match the build-up to Taker vs Kane I.

Considering most people didn't think it was going to be great I'm going for the Batista match. Heck the Last Man Standing Match at Backlash was even better I thought.

Eh, as good of a match he had with Shawn at Wrestlemania 25, I'd give the edge to 26 there simply due to the stipulations...it had me more intrigued since there was more on the line. As good as a match can be, it loses it's finesse when I know what the outcome is going to be. With 26, I actually felt that Shawn had a chance of winning, especially since it closed the show.
That said, I feel that overall story, stips and match quality was his first match with Kane. That was probably the first time he had a "great" match at Mania. Of course, their rematch at 20 left a lot to be desired, which is why I hope they never face each other again.

V HBK WM25 I don't think it can even be a question, that match was perfect on all levels with them almost killing each other (in a fake sport) to achieve it.
Would have his match with Edge at at 24 2nd and maybe his match with Diesel at 12 3rd as both were great story telling and just pip it for me over HBK 26 and Trips 1 wm17

I'll always pick 23 vs. Batista cause it exceeded my expectations and sucked me in. With HBK, you knew what you were getting and by that point you knew Taker was winning no matter what.

Vs. Shawn (WM 25).
Taker's face at HBK kicking out of the Tombstone is still an iconic image.

HBK @ WM 25. That's as perfect of a match as one is likely to see in the WWE.

I agree with the board. The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania (aka WrestleMania XXV).

If I had to rank the top 5 or so:
1. HBK @ 25 2. HHH @ 27 (yes, I think it was better than the HIAC) 3. Batista @ 23 4. HBK @ 26 5. HHH @ 28

HBK at Mania 25. Easy.
Also big props to the Triple H match at Mania 27. The only match since the streak became a thing where I was convinced that Triple H would win at a point. I'm referring to the Tombstone pin.
Also I really liked the Edge and Batista matches too. The Batista one especially caught me completely off guard.

Nice to see there are a few who are taking the piss by voting for Boss Man.
It's the best Mania match of Taker's to torture terrorist suspects with.

Yeah, his first match with HBK is the most memorable to me.

I love alot of 'Taker's Wrestlemania matches. Roberts, Diesel, Sid, Flair, Orton, Batista, all of the Kane matches. Any day of the week, I'd give you a different answer to which one I think is the best. Though today I'd probably say the first match with Michaels. The two were still in great shape, there wasn't really any gimmicks attached to it and there was that special magic to it few matches have.
The second one's not bad, but you can already tell the wear & tear on 'Taker's starting to show and it doesn't quite recapture the magic of the first, in my opinion. And, the Triple H matches...well, less said about them the better.

I agree with the board. The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania (aka WrestleMania XXV). It wasn't the 25th anniversary, unless you count year 0 as a 1 year anniversary...
