So there are 2 tournaments I really want to run:
1. A tournament to determine the 'Best Console For Wrestling Gaming'. Basically, which system had the best wrestling games on it. It'll be relatively short, a tournament of only 16. But it might lead to spinoffs for other genres of gaming.
2. Best Wrestling Game Of All Time. A little longer obviously, I really want to take the long road with this one, first with a series of polls involving every WWF/WWE game, then every WCW/ECW/TNA game, then we'll get to all the other wrestling games on a nomination basis.
Which one should I run first? Should I run them both at the same time maybe?

I was just thinking that, considering how popular this Chuck 'Em Game I created was, and how it's slowly but constantly evolving here, I might as well take this games thread to post some revised rules, rather than make one blank thread. I think these are the things most of us can agree on.
Creation 1) Check to see how many Chuck 'Em games there are. Make sure your idea hasn't already been done, and that there aren't already too many games going on already. Three or four seems to be the max at once. 2) Create a list of 40+ things. 3) Repost the playing rules. Changing the hour rule is alright. 4) When the game is over, the person who made the game is responsible for making sure there are no errors, and a post-game wrap to announce the winner (Although I might end up doing the wrap if it's a topic I'm familiar with).
Playing 1) Copy the list into your own message. MAKE SURE YOU COPY THE ENTIRE LIST. 2) Delete ONE name. 3) Under the updated list, tell who you chucked and why. Silly answers are okay. 4) If you chuck someone, please wait three hours before you chuck someone else. Three hour rule. 6) When only one name is left, he or she will be branded Unchuckable!
How does that sound? Not trying to be bossy or anything, just trying to get everything nice and uniform. My OCD demands it.

I will look into it after my countdown of wrestlers finishes, initial interest is quite good. Just need to find some time to set it going.

I would definitely be tempted to take another shot at EWT. Somebody's gotta whip these rookies into shape... perhaps that person should be...
CHANCE... Confidence.

This is my first time looking at this thread and I found it very interesting. For those that don't know I originally started FAWA(back when it was still WWCF: World WrestleCrap Federation) and I also participated in EWT very near the end right before I started WWCF. I think I used a parody Saved by the Bell team of high school wrestlers managed by Screech in EWT.
Most probably don't know this but I actually used EWT as a loose template for starting WWCF. Sure it came out of the forum member tournaments from the summer of 2008 that I hosted but when I decided to turn those ideas into an E-Fed I actually went back and read a ton of the EWT early archived threads from the old Wrestlecrap forum and saw how it actually started. I even blatantly ripped off EWT's old weekly show title of Niteraw.(that may have been before it was even called EWT)
I know WWCF kind of created competition for EWT but that was never really my intention. Originally WWCF was just suppose to be a laid back forum fed where people used their forum names and turned them into gimmicks. In general it was suppose to be much more laid back and more of an alternative to EWT. Funny enough it was actually loosely based off early EWT. The first one or two months of shows we actually did the results and voting in real time on Monday nights.
WWCF quickly just went into a natural evolution and eventually it actually became very much like EWT. Honestly I don't see too much difference between EWT and current day FAWA other than the fact that FAWA uses voting which was always the key difference. I could be wrong in thinking that though because I haven't kept up with FAWA these past three years.
Here are the original rules just to show how WWCF was originally set up. Notice I didn't even require people to do roleplays/promos. Back then we didn't even have to write matches because we did the shows in real time and we actually voted in the actual weekly show thread. When we switched to doing votes via PMs I wrote small paragraph recaps for every match and it eventually just evolved into a regular E-Fed where we wrote full matches. I'm glad the voting always stayed intact though. I always thought that was a creative way to come up with results and I've never seen any other E-Feds decide results that way. I've never liked the idea of an e-fed owner deciding who wins and loses.
Original Rules for WWCF(now FAWA) Rules 1. It is preferred that all in character promos or roleplays should be written in a different color lettering.(this is so we can tell the difference between out of character and in character talk) Its no big deal if you don't but it is preferred.
2. All matches are decided by votes. Only people on the WWCF roster may vote in matches. Anyone in the Manager roster can vote but they may not vote for their own client's matches. Every time you vote you must roleplay in some form of offense for the person you are voting for. It doesn't have to be long though if you don't want it to be. It can be simply just one line of text. You can also use a vote as a roleplay run-in for yourself trying to make the person your voting against lose.(Meaning you are interfering in the match to attack someone.) You may never vote for yourself unless otherwise said.
3. Number of votes to win depends on the match.
4. You do not have to do roleplay promos for yourself if you don't want to. It is completely optional. Roleplays are allowed to take place during Monday NiteRaw as promos that are on the show.
5. The WWCF 24/1 Hardcore Championship works like this. Every Sunday night at MIDNIGHT American Central time(meaning it becomes Monday) the WWCF 24/1 Hardcore Championship will be open to win. To win it you simply have to post a little roleplay beating the previous Hardcore Champion. This will last until Midnight Monday night American Central time meaning it will only be active for a 24 hour period. Anyone who wins it during that 24 hour period will not be recognized as a former Hardcore Champion. To actually become the official WWCF 24/1 Hardcore Champion you have to be the last person to win it right before Midnight on Monday. For PPVs it will be a 24 hour period on a Sunday and not the next day on Monday since there will be no Monday NiteRaws the day after PPVs. If you are not a member of the WWCF Roster you may not win the Hardcore Championship.
6. People are allowed to have managers(other members of the forum) only managers may not vote for their clients in matches but they can vote for other people in other matches.
7. All No. 1 Contenders for Championships will be randomly generated. I will put the whole roster in a scramble generated list on random.org and the top four that show up on the list will have matches to determine a No. 1 Contender. If you are one of the four who is randomly generated to that spot but you fail to lose the championship you will be put in another list until everyone else has had a fair shot. This is the fairest way I could think of doing this.
I'm glad that FAWA kept going thanks to some really dedicated members. I started it when I was younger and in college, but eventually I just didn't have the time to run it. I'm a little dissapointed that it didn't stay as a laid back fed, but it really just kind of had a natural evolution and much more serious as time went on. Almost everything about it when it started was a parody from the announcers to the PPV and weekly show names. Overtime I think the fed has gotten much better with a really cool point system and I'm amazed it has kept going.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa. There can be no discussion of EWT without the man who held the EWT World Heavyweight Championship for 162 days. Spaz: Respect, Loyalty, Ability Mysth: Ha! Brag about your fancy title all you want, I am the people's champion here! Spaz: Long before you were around I was busting my ass for the EWT fans Mysth. I did things nobody else even thought of. I threw Botchberg off a scaffold at Carp-a-mania 1. I bled all over the OX Division title. I had a piece of announce table spear through my shoulder & tear my flesh to shreds. I helped Jzbadblood win the World Heavyweight title. I wrestled all the greats of EWT. I survived psychoapeguy, I pushed DSR to the limit. Limey & I tore the house down again & again. I had the greatest Crap-a-mania match of all time with Ratings. To this day they still talk about Generation Tech vs The PTA. The fans that were there the night in San Francisco I won the World Heavyweight title still have the tickets & photos of me, standing tall with the belt in my hand. I beat 27 number one contenders on the same night. Nobody has ever done what I have done & nobody ever will. Now & forever Spaz equals ratings. Now & forever Spaz stands for Respect, Loyalty & Ability.
