Hm, I PMed Joker but have yet to receive a response. Oh well, I'll put the word out here.
If you're a former member of EWT and are interested in reviving it, could you please PM me by this Wednesday? I have an idea and I hope enough people are willing to join in on it.

Can we PM you if we weren't part of it but would be interested in joining a revived version?

Heads up to the dozens (and dozens) of the FAWA's fans: I revamped the links between the various threads and did some much needed editing for the new forum format that's been a long time coming. Hope people like it and that it makes navigating the FAWA much more convenient.
That's all.

FAWA update: For those that haven't seen it from the thread titles, E-Day is here and has been here for the past few weeks.
What is E-Day? The EWT Invasion of the FAWA. The door is open for all to join in. The ultimate plan is for EWT to reestablish its roster and part ways with FAWA but for now, it's on like Donkey Kong.

Is there any way to give polls their own forum because they are not really a game & are flooding forum games making it hard to keep track of other posts.

^I don't think we'll be able to that.
I do think section could use a tidy though at some point.

Can someone point me to how this e-fed works? I'd love to join, but don't know squat about rules or what else is needed to know to be involved.

I just want a rundown of how it all works, and what I myself would do in it.

Which E-Fed? FAWA or WWE FAN? Or if you mean EWT, I believe it's currently incorporated with FAWA. Either one. I would like to get involved, but no nothing about any of it. I just want a rundown of how it all works, and what I myself would do in it. Rightio, here's how they work basically. You have a character(In FAWA you make one from scratch, in WWE:FAN you pick a roster member, though they can have any gimmick you wish) and you promo with them. This generally involves your character talking about whatever, and when you're done you PM it to the person running the show, post it in a special promo thread(FAWA) or post it as a web exclusive(WWE:FAN) From this, your character partakes in matches, which can be written by yourself or others in the Fed, oftentimes becoming involved in storylines with other characters, which can lead to championship wins,(Though these serve purely as a plot device, it can feel good to win one.) and character development. Now I'm going to explain some things unique to each fed. Bear in mind I'm not in FAWA, so some of this information might be out of date. Shows and voting: In WWE:FAN, the two weekly shows(RAW and Smackdown) are separate entities with their own unique and varied rosters, and you can have two active wrestlers on both. To have a match on the show your character is on, you can either write a match with a non-taken(owned)character jobbing to your own, and send it to the organizer of that show(Known as the GM) for posting in the nights proceedings alternatively, and far more commonly, the General Manager will book your character in a match against other wrestlers. Generally should you wish to win this match, you should send a promo to the GM of the show, which will be posted before the match, alongside the other participants promos, which are then judged by each member, taking into account multiple factors(Really just personal preference) Who then vote in a 10 or so minute time period after the match intro is posted, generally with X hits Y with Z(X being the winning wrestler, Y a losing wrestler, and Z the move they use.) The wrestler with the most votes wins the match under usual circumstances, though some special cases may happen. You are allowed to vote for yourself, though that requires you to turn up to the match. In FAWA, matches are voted upon in advance, via PMs from the GM to the members. There is only one show in FAWA, which is called NiteRaw. The match cards posted tend to be important matches for that week, and thus if you wish to have a normal match, you can either write a squash with a non-taken wrestler, or a pre-determined match against another roster member, after contacted the writer. The shows are posted in a complete form, and no live voting takes place. Inactivity: In FAWA, if you are inactive for two weeks without a proper reason, your character is stripped of any possible championships they may hold, and put into a title match for it. If you are inactive for a month, your character is cut from the roster. In WWE FAN, your character is cut if they are inactive for a month without a proper reason being given. Characters, Taken and otherwise: In WWE FAN, you can have up to 16 characters, though only four may be "taken". Taking a character means they are yours, period. No one can remove them unless you drop them or they are cut, at which point they are available again. In addition, you may "tag rule" other characters to your main characters, who generally function as tag team partners, managers, bodyguards and stable mates of your taken. They can also wrestle and win championships. You may tag rule up to three characters to each taken. Tag ruled characters can be taken by other members, though they must ask first, and will have the courtesy not to do so if it ruins your plans in any way. In FAWA, there's a limit of four active wrestlers Though I believe you can have as many non active characters in managerial type roles as you wish. Odd quirks: In FAWA, they have a point system for getting championship shots, which I believe you obtain from promoing and writing matches. In WWE FAN, you obtain title shots when the General Manager believes your character deserves one. This will either result in a number one contendership match, or you and the champion coming up with keyfabe reasons for the title shot. I (believe) I've covered all bases. For more information, please check out the first post of the current WWE:FAN and FAWA threads: officialfan.proboards.com/thread/490144/wwe-fan-thread-234-nope(WWE:FAN)officialfan.proboards.com/thread/483687/fawa-55-justin-hole-universe(FAWA)Should you wish to join either of these feds, simply take or create a character(only after checking if the character is available(WWE:FAN) or different from other gimmicks(FAWA). In addition, if you're still unsure and want to get a feel for how things operate, please check out the latest FAWA and WWE:FAN shows. Hope you're clear about how they work, now.

As an original EWT member, and the greatest manager in EWT history, I can make you one promise. If EWT comes back, I will bring a wrestler so fearsome, so awe inspiring, so dangerous, you will regret ever thinking the letters E.W.T.

WWE FAN hasn't had a new member stick around in over a year.
Simply put, folks, we need more kids.

It seems to me that both of the E-Feds have hit a snag, lately. WWE:FAN membership wise, and FAWA interest wise.

FAWA's plague is that it relies upon members to volunteer to write matches. This used to work fine but at some point it became like pulling teeth.
Might be high time for an e-fed revolution on these boards. Tear it all down and start anew. But I'm nutty like that.

Anyway, I've kicked around the idea of running a tabletop RPG right here as a play-by-post. Nothing big, nothing fancy. Just a simple hack of Risus but with Wushu's combat system. If there is interest or questions give me a holla. I'd like at least 2 players but if there's enough interest I might make it a matter of signing up. Eh, we'll see what happens.

You've got people who can't take matches very often because of things like school that just can't wait, people that take matches and never get around to doing them, and people who only chime in to say "I would but I have to do all these other writing-related things, most of which could probably wait but no really I'm busy guys." and the process just repeats.
