People don't make this joke to avoid "glorifying" Benoit. They make this joke to mock WWE's handling of him. But WWE didn't replace him, they just don't mention him, and he's still included on various DVD/BluRays and in their title histories, so the comparison is a bit off. I will admit though, that some of the photoshops were hilarious. I think they swapped Benoit out for Holly in the SmackDown intro or some other small, subtle thing like that.

- 1980s NWA fanboys are just as if not more guilty of viewing things though rose tinted glasses as ECW fanboys are. - I find Ric Flair's promos to be both dreadful and dull as he whenever he talked he looked like someone who is about to pass out at any moment because they just huffed a can of butane - I really don't get why people why people praise the likes of Vader and Japanese wrestlers for being so stiff and reckless when at the same time slagg the likes of JBL and Hardcore holly off.

-Roddy "Sucking since 1987" Piper might be the most overrated legend of them all. He's been in some of the worst matches and segments over the past 25 years and for a guy with supposed great mic skills, he's cut some of the worst promos ever. His long-winded, incoherent ramblings make Scott Steiner look like a mic master at times. And I don't even think Piper was that great in his so-called prime. Similar guys like Eddie Gilbert & Michael Hayes smoke Piper. -Fake Razor & Diesel was a brilliant idea in theory. Yeah, I said it. Think about it, other mediums do this all the time and it works. Think James Bond, Doctor Who, Batman, etc. Then you get all those soap characters who were played by different people. Hell, even pro wrestling had done this before! with multiple Tiger Mask's, Black Tiger's, Kamala's, Doink's and all those Mexican wrestling gimmicks. The fans liked the Razor Ramon & Diesel characters so why not simply re-cast them? I think the idea of "Character > Wrestler" taken to these extremes is Vinnie Mac's dream come true. If this would have worked, most of the wrestlers themselves would have become expendable. 'Taker wants a ton of money? See ya! Vince has a younger, cheaper guy like Glenn Jacobs (again lol) or Brian Lee right there. So yeah, it failed and became known as "Wrestlecrap" but I still maintain the belief that it was an idea worth trying. the big difference between Steiner and Piper is that with Scott the rambling's largely intentional. and I say that as a huge Piper mark, the guy hasn't done anything worthwhile since he starred in They Live. No love for the Wrestlemania 8 match with Bret?

Mike Awesome should have been a World Heavyweight Champion in the "big two" promotions at least once. All he needed was a manager.
Sean O'Haire should have become a much bigger star than he was.
Roddy Piper is one of the most overrated "legends" of all time. For that matter, so is Dusty Rhodes.
As great as Bobby Heenan was for most of his career, his WCW run... wasn't. In fact, at times it was dreadful.

I think it may be unpopular to say that Heenan should take more of the blame for his lackluster work in WCW. Since he is so fondly remembered for his past work and people understandably feel so bad for him in his current state it seems like most think he could do no wrong. As such instead of blaming him for anything it has to be because "OH it was WCW and WCW was always incompetent lol." The guy was making more than in WWF and had six years with the company. He produced a few gems here and there (like laughing throughout a Hacksaw match at the mention he went to college), but it could have really helped the product if Brain went in giving his best every night.

I would actually say people who only saw his WWF run underrate Dusty a lot and the WWE fans who cheer him these days only do so because he is presented as a legend that they are supposed to cheer rather than because they know his body of work and were fans of him.

I don't recall him doing anything worse than having an unusual look and in ring style, but he had that when they signed him.

They totally blew it with him Thorn: Meh. Burchill: Yes and No. The Pirate thing was ended way too soon. Kendrick: He prefered his weed to being pushed. His failure is on him. Jackson: People simply didnt care about him. Vansen: Stop it. The guy had *one* pretty good promo. Let's stop acting like he was a lock for the HOF Regal: He was a tag,Euro and IC champ. He had a few ME programs, but his repeated wellness violations screwed him from anything more Kennedy: Injured all the time, wellness. No, not the company's fault Tomko: Maybe. Kozlov: Nobody gave a shit about him as a serious main eventer. He did managed to get over with Santino Masters: Absolutely. He had gotten much better and was pretty over before they released him. Wellness issues didnt help though

JBL has actively tried to injure people but Holly has out and out said that he was just a naturally stiff worker who accidently hurt people sometimes which lead to rumors. Strange as he tends to get more shit for it than JBL does.

It just looks like the rotation was botched and Brock, instead of protecting him, dropped him on his head. I don't know about the rookies enough to speak on it, all I know is that the way JBL treated Public Enemy, Meanie, The Miz, Palmer Cannon, The Blue Meanie and many other guys was horrible and well documented yet he doesn't get half the heat that Holly does.

- I'll get crucified for this, but in my opinion, Mick Foley was terrible. Outside of the shock of watching him try his best to become a paraplegic, he had nothing. As a person, however, he seems like the best.
- It depresses me that WCW didn't win 'the war'. Minus the clusterf*** that was late WCW, I always thought their product was superior to the WWF/WWE's.
- Colt Cabana, as an entertainer, is leaps and bounds above CM Punk. The WWE dropped the ball in the worst way with him.
- Bobby Eaton should've been a world champion.

I have no problem whatsoever with the fans chanting random stuff during a match.
Brian Adams was one of the most underrated wrestlers of the 90's.
I don't like stables. If all wrestlers worked solo, things would be much better.
I may have said this before, but I think Paul Heyman is incredibly overrated as both a manager and a commentator.
On the subject of commentators, I don't think Jesse Ventura was very good either.

Of all the divas/knockouts on the current roster of WWE & TNA, I find AJ Lee to be the least attractive both appearance wise and personality-wise(she looks too much like a 14 year old for my liking).

I would say that it shouldn't matter as long as she gets it done in the ring but seen as she's not competing in all that many matches then I totally agree. If they're going to use someone as eye candy they could at least go the whole hog on it and go for a real sex symbol rather than a geek chic girl with "nerd" appeal.
