They should just have ONE of them, man. Having THREE special attraction matches is beyond silly, they all dilute each others' drawing power and squeeze the rest of the card out of their spots. The idea of using popular wrestlers from the past as draws is fine, but there's just too much of it this year at Mania. Pretty much. There's nothing wrong with part-timers/special attractions. The problem is that WWE is relying on them way too much.

I do think it's a good point that John Cena isn't this huge be-all-end-all draw himself. He's more Bret Hart than Hulk Hogan. Undertaker hasn't even been the top guy and drawn tons of money. Triple H's rise to the main event and 'reign of terror' coincided with WWE's business dropping off massively. It's pretty convenient, and over-simplified, to just throw out there that CM Punk 'doesn't draw' to try and negate him somehow. Honestly, I thought it was common knowledge. Cena, despite how they book him and push him, is more Hart/Michaels than he is Hogan/Austin. He's the company's flag barrier that maintains the average, helping prevent it from dipping too low. But not the guy that's going to change the business or get people buzzing about it again. It is, but if you just read non-business related threads, you'd think that Cena was drawing in all these people and CM Punk is chasing them away, just by the way people talk about them.

If Punk was big enough to be in the Main Event. He would be in the Main event. And Miz was? Come on, man. I'm not saying Punk should have bumped Rock, that's absurd. But if Rock didn't wrestle last year, he's definitely big enough to main event against John Cena. That said, I realize that Punk is likely targeting the smart-marks for the most part, but what I don't understand is today's sudden flip by fans (often here) to support brown-nosers. It's not a good quality. At all. Sure, Punk has no tact, but almost all of his criticisms of WWE, whether worked or not, have been true for the most part. I find it fascinating that people don't hear them simply because his arrogance rubs them the wrong way. I for one think his arrogance is great. I hate milquetoast suck-ups. This world was built on the people who defied authority and shattered/changed archaic thinking/institutions. Not yes-men and apologists.

Whenever anyone says boo about the miz 30 posters come out to strike to defend their madonna. The robot Maria led all the people to riot and destroy everything in her path, to the point of endangering her own children. People defend Miz with a fervor and his followers are legion. Also he's pretty scripted and something of a mechanical man. CM Punk's following are more like the rats he sleeps with in the dumpsters, we're pretty lazy in comparison. #punkmizfeuditllbegreat

The big news here is that someone is still paying Mark Madden money for some reason. He's popular, and there's one huge thing besides that for him. He broke the Penn State Sexual Abuse Scandal story, 7 months before anyone else covered it. I bet when he broke that story, a bunch of people were like "pssh Madden's just being a fat IDIOT as usual!"

A statement that works if you entirely agree that Miz saying he likes having the Rock around is brown nosing and not just a long time fan of him demonstrating his appreciation for someone he idealized. To many its not that cut and dry.

Like everything else Punk says.

Personally, I acknowledge that Punk is a smart dude that seems to have a good mind for the business. His arrogance, however, causes me to dislike him. He makes great points, he just happens to state them in the most tactless/assholish way possible. I understand why he feels the need to express them that way but it still rubs me the wrong way.
I admire the knowledge that Punk possess. I don't admire Punk himself. I hope that made sense.

People seem very judgmental lately toward anybody who has the gall to give themselves credit for something, or think they're right and someone else is wrong. Yet at the same time you hear constant complaining about how everyone is too sensitive and "PC". I'm starting to think a lot of people just like to complain.

I don't think they could top the Michaels matches whether he wanted to or not, I think he and Taker are just too banged up right now.

Punk knows all the buttons to press doesn't he?
He's got a 'would you kindly' like hold over a certain section of fans. The right name here, the right industry phrase there and his 'smark' army mobilise.
