Also, Power Girl's outfit in general really makes me laugh. That space for tits is so obviously put there for male fans it's shameless. At least Vampirella is more bald-faced about it.

I don't need to see my favorite super-heroines dressed as total sluts What's that now?

Some of those actually look cool, like Vampirella.
Others look f***ing silly, like Supergirl and Black Canary. Just....just what the f*** is up with those two outfits?

So that's what Iron Wonder Woman would look like.

Oh my, one of them might show an ankle or a wrist. That would be horrrible. There is one thing to get away from the low cut stuff, but this stuff goes the total opposite direction. RTC Universe.

I liked Zatanna's. I think that one could be pulled off with very little grief from the comic community. Wonder Woman's "battlesuit" is nice, but the boots look to be a little baggy, same goes for Supergirl.

Zatana and Psyloche kind of work, but some of these are really overkill. They are actually more dressed then the men. If you want to make things trul equal, all you would need to do is give them pants and cover the cleavage. The males also wear pretty tight pants when it comes to their costumes.

Again, it does specify that this is a thought experiment rather than a mandate for how all heroines should be dressed. It's meant to totally eschew skintight clothing and bare skin, the same as a lot of comic creators eschew realistic proportions and basic decency. This is taking it to the other extreme, to be the overkill, to illustrate that yes, these characters are still recognisable even when they're not being sexualised.

Supergirl would look better with red trousers.

So Black Canary is basically wearing her original Birds of Prey outfit?

I dunno, Vampirella still looks pretty sexy in that outfit. It isn't literally just strips of fabric like her actual outfit is, but it still has a "sexy" vibe to it. Just more refined sexy and not stripper sexy.

There is one thing to get away from the low cut stuff, but this stuff goes the total opposite direction. Yeah, most of them look so...baggy. I do think that modest gear helps though. A female character, real or literary, shouldn't have to be buck naked to be appealing to the audience.

So Black Canary is basically wearing her original Birds of Prey outfit? That's what I thought too. I thought Canary was an odd choice since when in the hands of somewhat decent team, she's typically dressed more conservative than most DC females.

Ok, looking this over a little bit more -
Supergirl - neat look, I like it. Has an alien feel to it which kinda suits the current incarnation.
Wonder Woman - I'm all for giving Wonder Woman pants and a more conservative look in general (I still feel the biggest challenge to ever getting a live-action Wonder Woman TV show or movie is the fact that her traditional will just look ridiculous in live-action), but this just doesn't work. The top just looks awkward and the color of her pants completely clash with the rest of the outfit. And her boots are... sagging?! How do boots sag?
Zatanna - another fun look. Probably works better without the hat.
Elektra - really like this look, really makes her look badass.

They couldn't do this with Namor first? I mean he's basically Superchippendale.
