Those outfits look really nice (except the Wonder Woman one, what's the deal with the generic beige pants?), but I really don't get why people always react like showing some skin is always exploitive. I mean yeah, I can get it with stuff like Powergirl, where it's explicitly the purpose, but no-one has a problem with guys running around half naked. It also tends to lead to the uncomfortable implication that women should be ashamed of showing their body.
Don't get me wrong, I hate it when fan service becomes the main focus (not to mention it usually isn't even sexy when that happens, so the only point is rendered moot), but so many people react like showing any bit of leg makes a character less worthy than one who covers herself. I don't find that logic more respectful than trying overly hard to get them half if not fully naked.
I think the rule of thumb for superheroes, regardless of gender is that they should wear something that looks intimidating, unique and practical. I really don't think the amount of fabric used should be an issue.
I especially like Zatanna's attire. I have a thing for long coats and dinner suits / vests.

Showing skin, or wearing skintight clothes, is not in and of itself bad. Pretty much all of the Batgirl costumes have been pretty respectful, for one example. That said, some of these looked pretty cool. The Elektra one is a hell of a lot better than anything I think I've ever seen her wear.

I prefer sleek superhero costume designs over the bulky, layered look that has become the rage because its more "realisitc".

- I'd like Zee to go back to her Original look.....but with trousers, But make them tight ones (Middle ground people)
- I was fine with her Nu52 concept trousers before they went with the pants
You want impossible.....well Challenging, A fully clothed Tarot or Raven Hex.

They couldn't do this with Namor first? I mean he's basically Superchippendale. He often wears full length pants and a vest though. IMO any artist drawing Namor with just his green underoos is code for "don't take this story seriously".

It's not Power Girl with out her giant cleavage. the one new 52 change DC actually threw out apparently Power Girl's cleavage is more important than Wally West or Donna Troy. I was unaware they did that... I know there were a few jokes with her costume ripping for a mock boob window but the regular costume didn't look bad. As for the topic, a lot of the pants look weird. Like Wonder Woman's clash horribly with everything else she's wearing... not to mention she's wearing what looks kinda like a Grecian War Skirt.... they didn't wear pants with that to my knowledge. Canary's pants look off too... for reasons I can't put my finger on. Elektra, Psylocke and Vampirella look good. Zatanna would look alright if her shirt was tucked in and she was wearing suit pants that actually fit her.

The only one that didn't really feel like the character was Power Girl.

I don't care for the Jeff Hardy pants on Black Canary.
