So, that's it, right? Ryback hasn't won a match on PPV since last summer, and the only win of importance he's managed to pick up as of late has been against Cesaro.
No one's going to get behind a choke artist.

I bet they freaked out at how predicable the card was this year and chose to change that match, since you couldn't really change The Shield match due to Show re-heeling.

Well the Shield won, so he can still be the one to finally end them.

I'm surprised they didn't at least go with Henry picking him up for the WSS following the Shellshock miss.

Ryback on Raw tomorrow night:
"Actually, I'm full. No dessert, please."

I seriously thought that the ending to the match was a botch, but I guess not since he got some heat back after the match. He'll probably beat Mizark on Raw tomorrow.

I mean they aren't making him look like a credible threat. He has lost 6 straight PPV matches, and got pinned at 3 of them.

He'll probably beat Mark at the "After-WM" PPV with another month of hype around "Yeah, you picked me up, but I'd already knocked you down" smack talk. Yes. Mark's smack talk is much better than mine.

He Shell Shocked Mark Henry after the match ended. Whooptee do. Doesn't change the fact he lost. Again. Don't know why they gave him the rocket ship only to snatch it away.

Seriously, what's up with all this "Ryback is done/buried talk"? Win or lose, he's still booked as one of the most unstoppable on the roster. He only debuted as Ryback barely a year ago... there's lots of time for him to get into the main event and take the top titles. Judging by how he has been booked, he definitely will sooner rather than later.
If what happened at Wrestlemania means they've given up on Ryback, they've also given up on The Miz, Wade Barrett, Antonio Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan, etc.

Wouldn't surprise me if they wanted to give Henry a legitimate 1vs1 win at Wrestlemania as a sort of "thank you" for his years of service WHILST getting Ryback over with that shell-shock to Henry.
I'll echo what was said in that I think Ryback will get over Henry at Extreme Rules in a pretty ugly clash.

They want to get people to the main event, but then realize that there are too many people up there... so they drop them down to the upper midcard, and then when they get too popular, they get depushed again. That way, you feel that they are capable of being in the main event. See Show, Big, Ziggler, Dolph, and Kane. Thing is, it pretty much kills the main event feel around them.

The end to the match or what happened after the match? That he lost. The whole looked strong losing doesn't really hold water after a while. Because you lose enough, and you're a loser. Doesn't matter what happens after you lost. People don't remember extenuating circumstances, they remember that you frequently lose.

He Shell Shocked Mark Henry after the match ended. The match was horrible. It was probably the worst match I have seen in a long time at a ppv.

Well the Shield won, so he can still be the one to finally end them. Except by then he'll have lost so much momentum he'll be coming out to crickets and no one will give a shit. One receipt four months after the fact doesn't make up for choking at that many PPVs.

Maybe people who dwell on things like that do. He still looked strong at the end regardless of whether he won the match or not. I honestly don't remember what other PPV matches he's lost (and I've seen almost all of them) and I'll forget this too, just like most of the crowd will.
