Im not suprised at all, Rock has halfassed everything since returning last year, hes just awful both on the mic and in the ring. People have turned on him for good reason and this just prooves, to me anyway, he was only ever intrested in making money and not for the fans as he so claims. I guess that sounds harsh but he really has no reason to act this way when the company has given him everything on silver platter.

A little too early to form any opinions, but this will certainly be an interesting show.

WWE buries Rock...Rock then shows up in TNA.
WWE has already pissed off Austin...so why not piss off another big name WWE.

I knew something was not right since lastnight Rock just looked pissed having to endorse Cena in the last min he seemed annoyed like all hell. You see I noticed that too. If you can go back and look at his entire body language before they went off the air. He didn't like it one bit no matter how hard he tried to put a smile on it. Probably didn't want to put Cena over last night

I'm sure Rock has a very good reason if he has indeed gone home. Plus I don't think they'll bury him on air, as that would be a mistake if it turns out he left for a genuine reason. Maybe something happened to a family member?

This could have also explained the strangeness of last night. Maybe Rock told them he was done just before the show, and they had to redo everything. Trips now goes over Lesnar to set up a 3rd match between them, while the WWE tries to figure out Lesnar's feud for Mania. That could also be why Cena kicked out of so damn much last night. the WWE was pissed about Rock doing this.
And wasn't Rock just announced as the cover guy for WWE 2K14?

The Rock is not one to just up and leave without reason , something royally pissed him off since lastnight and obviously it has not changed into today.

Probably didn't want to put Cena over last night To be honest, I don't think it was even that. It was handled badly and he knew it going into that event. To be honest, coming down the ramp at the start of the match he seemed "off". He probably knew before he went out to the ring that he was leaving. Hell perhaps he was supposed to win, and they changed it at the last minute? I know that would piss me off, especially if I get the vibe that the audience wanted "me" to win.

His whole run a WWE Champion seemed like he was not terribly interested in wrestling at this point in his life. I know he had prior obligations with his movies, but still he was rarely there for Raw and never mentioned his wrestling stuff on most of his recent entertainment interviews over the last few weeks.

if they already paid him or had his guarantee he'd be there, it's a total dick move on The Rock's part. yeah he is bigger than the company and his movie's done but it just reeks of mid 90s Shawn Michaels. OTOH, if WWE just expected him to be there and never actually discussed it with him, they have nobody to blame but themselves.
that said, I think they should mention it as little as possible. don't bury the guy because it'd just come off as sour grapes and make WWE look small time. plus Cena's the last guy who should give such a speech because if he started bitching the crowd would just shit on him.

And wasn't Rock just announced as the cover guy for WWE 2K14? Yeah 2 days ago it was announced I think. I guess they were expecting he'd be back to wrestle on a more regular basis in the future. Maybe he doesn't want to feud with Lesnar and they wouldn't let him out of it so he walked? But I'm going with what was said, in that something pissed him off to no end last night and he decided to leave this morning. Oh to be a fly on the wall in Vince's office.

He looked pissed off last night, people in the threads thought somebody died just because of how bizarre that match went.
He came back to put over Cena. I'm thinking he wasn't happy with how everything went, or something didn't go as he wished during the match, maybe an argument between him and Vince.

I guess that sounds harsh but he really has no reason to act this way when the company has given him everything on silver platter. that's pretty harsh, all things considered. I consider his work this year to be stronger than last year's. And if by people turning on him you mean scattered folks in internet land say bad things about him, then yeah, people have turned on him. But going off crowd reactions, the people are behind him now as much as ever. And I'm not even that big of a Rocky fan, but this is a little jumping the shark here with reaction. I'm cringing if they bury him tonight.
