We need to wait and her Dwayne's side of the story. He's never been one to think of himself before the company.

Kinda stupid to blame him for anything since he didn't have to return in the first place, after all hes been relatively successful ...

If this was to set up something a year ahead of time tonight, a lot can happen in a year. Either they'll make peace with each other and it will be back on, or WWE officials have a year to figure out who goes against Brock. I would go with the latter and take as much time as possible figuring out what should be done for the next year, not rush the process.

They'll replace the opening segment they had planned with a 20 minute HHH promo

This is totally his way of getting back at WWE for the time they let his contract expire without telling him.
Edit: I'm going around various forums trying to find anything on this (rumours-wise at least), and I've seen rumours that Lesnar has left too.

Probably didn't want to put Cena over last night To be honest, I don't think it was even that. It was handled badly and he knew it going into that event. To be honest, coming down the ramp at the start of the match he seemed "off". He probably knew before he went out to the ring that he was leaving. Hell perhaps he was supposed to win, and they changed it at the last minute? I know that would piss me off, especially if I get the vibe that the audience wanted "me" to win. To be honest, after seeing how poorly managed WrestleMania was last night, I can't blame Rock if he wanted out. I don't think he's the type to not want to put a guy over, but if THAT was how it was pitched to him, I'd be upset too.

I knew something was not right since lastnight Rock just looked pissed having to endorse Cena in the last min he seemed annoyed like all hell. You see I noticed that too. If you can go back and look at his entire body language before they went off the air. He didn't like it one bit no matter how hard he tried to put a smile on it. Yeah, between that and the weird gap between their match and Lesnar/HHH, it seems like something went down last night.

Yeah, between that and the weird gap between their match and Lesnar/HHH, it seems like something went down last night. Five minutes before the match: Vince: "Hey guys. The heel turn is off. Instead, Rock puts Cena over clean and Cena wins his respect. And... GO!"

I've got an idea. Replace the segment with a Daniel Bryan vs Dolph Ziggler 20 minute classic.

I mean, not EVERYTHING is lost. They can still build Rock/Lesnar any other date of the year where they can get both to appear on Raw. I don't think building 'Mania matches a year in advance is fun anyway so I'm not too disappointed.
That said, Rock did seem off last night. The ending with Rock saluting Cena just seemed force and completely NOT Rock. Wouldn't be surprised if he didn't decide then and there to go back to Hollywood where he knows exactly what character he is playing and he's in pretty much total control.

Ha, it would serve them right having them left high and dry left with their own Superstars for the rest of the year, you know, like a normal wrestling company.

I'm seeing on Twitter some people are saying no one from WWE told Rock he was expected to be there tonight I seriously doubt this, since I'm sure that as part of his appearance deal it would include Mania and the Raw after at the least. If he's really not there and Vince sends someone out to bury him, he has officially lost his mind. Have Cena thank him, tease some sort of important promo or something to Rocky and then have Mark Henry or Brock or whoever come out and wreck him.

I honestly felt they booked The Rock weirdly last night. The amount of times he went for the rock bottom or a DDT made him look like he had limited ability. Perhaps he took exception to that? i thought the match was poorly put together. Like every other kick out of finisher match turned up 10 notches.

The Rock has always been a class act. There is obviously something "personal" that Rock has to take care of at home. I never imagined Rock would ever walk out of anything let alone the WWE. Besides what purpose does it serve if they actually bury him?
Absolutely nothing! Burying The Rock, Vince? Your such a crybaby bitch. The man has done everything and has put over everyone you told him to and this is how you repay him? An ugly job to Cena? Stupid.
