I just discovered Amaretto Chocolate Milk today, it was divine. I also dig Amaretto Stone Sour as well as Mike's Hard Black Cherry.
So what's your drink of choice?

Anything.
But if push came to shove, a nice Cuba Libre (Dark Rum and Coke with a splash of Lime Juice)or Jack & Coke will suffice.

With a fine meal? Red or white wine, as long as it's not a cheapo brand.
At a bar? Hard cider. Even if it's a Woodchuck, that's good. I'm not too picky, I just like cider.

Usually Orange juice or another type of Fruit Juice if I'm feeling adventurous. If I've had a crappy day, I'll occasionally break down and buy a Monster Energy. Helps more than you'd think.
I don't really drink alcohol too much, really only on special occasions or after a Sunday meal, and if I do, it's usually Whisky, straight or mixed with a small amount of Diet Pepsi.

They're putting alcohol in chocolate milk now? Pffftt, I've been drinking regular chocolate milk before the tried to make it all "adult" or what have you. Nothing beats the generic stuff they sell at the local grocery store.

I love any and all alcohol but my staples are gin and tonics and whiskey gingers.
Lately I've been on a huge Fireball Whisky kick so I've been doing shots of that like it's going out of style. I've also been experimenting with it and Fireball Manhattans are absolutely amazing.

Beer if I'm just having a couple.
If it's a proper night out then I'll start off on double vodka and coke's, some shots here and there then treble vodka and coke's.

And the fact that you dubbed the drink as "god awful" is probably why I stick to the classic stuff.

Mudslides are made with Kahluah which is a coffee based liqueur and it wouldn't give you the desired taste if you wanted something like chocolate milk. For a good chocolate milk cocktail I recommend using Pinnacle Chocolate Whipped vodka, that stuff is fantastic.

Recently have gotten turned on to Moscato wine. For mixed drinks, a coconut rum and coke will do fine.

I make home made hard Cider quarterly, and I'm a fan of local IPA's. Full Sail, Doghead, etc.

I've also been experimenting with it and Fireball Manhattans are absolutely amazing. Just tried Fireball not too long ago, it's awesome. Have been meaning to pick up a bottle to experiment with. My favorites as far as alcoholic drinks go are either Canadian Club & Coke or a Cuba Libre. Non-alcoholic, I really enjoy root beers, especially Boylan, Weinhards, and Goose Island. I also have a great fondness for Goose Island's Spicy Ginger soda, but that is a pain in the ass to find.

Coconut rum with Pepsi or pineapple juice works for me. Rum in general is wonderful stuff, though I am fond of Rekorderlig Strawberry and Lime cider.
When I have the money for it, Stolichnaya Elit is the most outstanding vodka I have ever tasted. It's more expensive than drugs though (£50 for a 70cl bottle), so when I drink vodka I find Crystal Head Vodka to be a perfectly acceptable substitute.
