I don't think a single thing tonight went in a logical or at least relevant, proactive direction. Not a single solitary thing. Uh... Henry tackling Sheamus through the wall was kind of funny. About it. Though it really made no sense. And I doubt we'll get any real explanation to it other than Henry going "That's what I do!".

I'm pissed that Kofi got another token midcard title reign. Cesaro held the belt for so long that losing it to Kofi of all people was just so anti-climactic. They should've pushed one of their other faces to take the belt off of Cesaro. It's like no other midcarder except Kofi gets to shine. Also, looking at the roster page reminds me of how much of a joke the brand split really is at this point. The only champions that are listed as Smackdown superstars are the Intercontinental Champion and the Diva's Champion. Every other champion is Raw brand. As far as TV goes, the brand split has been dead and buried for months. Any wrestler can turn up on any show, and Booker T has GM authority on Raw and Vickie has GM authority on SmackDown. The split is just arbitrarily how they promote the separate house show runs, with the titles being split evenly regardless of what brand the titleholder is assigned to.

Funny, I liked this Raw and hated last weeks.

I'm honestly not seeing what was supposed to be so bad. Nothing spectacular happened, but there was a decent amount of wrestling. It certainly wasn't one of those risibly terrible '09 RAWs filled with interminable comedy sketches and c-list celebrity guest hosts.

It certainly wasn't one of those risibly terrible '09 RAWs filled with interminable comedy sketches and c-list celebrity guest hosts. I think it's a matter of last week's show containing such an energetic vibe missing from the product, that tonight's flat, mark crowd was a depressing reminder that things are not all that fun after all, and last week was just an anomaly. I mean, most knew it would be. But the excitement was gone -- replaced again with by the numbers booking, and in some cases, the extinguishing of special moments for status-quo like Dolph jobbing and Ryback being turned into a silly heel archetype to prevent Cena from ever gaining any character growth.

I'd love to call this crowd a mark crowd, but that would insinuate that they at least reacted to the status quo guys like Cena, Orton, and Sheamus.
They were just dead, except for the Punk segment of all things.

I didn't think it was that bad, it wasn't amazing or anything but it wasn't horrid either.

I wouldn't really blame the crowd for Raw. Even if the crowd was as hot as last week, the show was still filled with strange booking that made no sense, and maybe 1 interesting match all night.

I'm just SICK of the lazy booking.
It's like the writers know nothing except "have Champion lose non-title match" to build up something. Lather, rinse, repeat for close to a decade now!
S****y, s****y writing.
Oh...and whatever they've done to Ryback. f*** you, you hacks.
EDIT: Apparently there's no filter on the "s" word as an adjective. Sorry... I did it myself, just in case.

It's never the crowd's fault. Yes, occasionally you'll get an amazing audience like last week that are determined to have a good time, but it's not the crowd's job to carry the show WWE is putting on. It'd be like if I went to a Paul McCartney concert, but, instead of singing "Hey Jude", he decides to only do cover versions of LMFAO's greatest hits. Yeah, I'd probably sit on my hands as well, despite shelling out 200 dollars for a cushioned seat.

At least Ryback's promo kicked ass.

I really didn't think it was that bad. Not great, but about average. The only horrible part was the Divas match with another horrible Bella victory. At least King's commentary about telling the Bellas apart, because one is "bigger" than the other was good.

I think they were counting on Fandango saving the show with a huge reaction, but somehow missed that 'Fandangoing' was the work of a bored, smark crowd and not a group of actual fans.

To be fair, they got into the Fandangoing about halfway through Curty's promo, but they clearly didn't have the enthusiasm for it that NJ had. Probably because of that cringeworthy hype video before hand.

It was a very mediocre episode of RAW. But I've been watching since the beginning in 1993. I've seen much worse.
Atleast the Bella twins got some TV time.

I don't think it was that bad. I"m pissed about Ziggler losing and Cesaro dropping the title to Kofi. I think all the matches were pretty good and that Lesnar beat down was amazing.

You might want to either remove that GIF or try to find a censored version.
