By this timeline, I would imagine a TF apology will happen in another........10 years?
BTW, I think the only thing he needs to apologize for re: ARMAGEDDON is the god awful melodrama of it. Production-wise, I was cool with what I saw.

Was Armageddon that bad, though? I quite enjoyed it.

Now if only he would do the same for the transformers films Pearl Harbour. Fixed, actually I don't like that term, alternate ending? Anyway (I think) he's been involved in a worse movies than Armageddon, seems an odd one to apologise for.

He won't apologize for Transformers. In fact, I bet he thinks he made up for armageddon by making transformers.

Armageddon was bad science.. and a bit cheesy... But not really that bad. I mean, it wasn't The Core.

He should really apologize for Pearl Harbor before anything else. A real event that saw the deaths of countless people, and he used it as a backdrop for a chick flick. He didn't really depict any loss of life as a real tragedy outside of the one nurse and Josh Hartnett's character. It's honestly offensive when you really think about it.

I like Armageddon. Completely harmless movie, I think too many people take everything so seriously.

I always thought Armageddon was one of his decent ones.
As mentioned, the plot is absurd but if nothing else Steve Buscemi's character is worth the time to watch it. The first 45-50 minutes is hilarious.

I wonder how it went when he had a screening of that movie for ww2 veterans(actually hapaned).

I like Armageddon. Completely harmless movie, I think too many people take everything so seriously. Agreed, it was a cheesy, fun sci-fi disaster movie. This is not the film he should be apologising for.

Gotta be honest, I find something kinda dickish in saying "Yeah, this movie sucked" rather than standing by a movie you've made.

Aw, I have such a soft spot for Armageddon. It was funny, it didn't take itself too seriously, and then bam, it shamelessly wrenches cheap tears from the audience at the end. What's not to like?

I love Armageddon, I thought it was a great little film. It's not exactly accurate but as a sci-fi/disaster movie goes it was pretty good, and damned emotional too. Plus I loved the Aerosmith song which went with the film.

Regarding the "Transformers" movies, the only one he should probably apologize for big time is the second film. Did we really need to see dogs mating? What was the point of Sam's mom acting all bat**** after eating a pot-laced brownie? Did the Leo character really need to be in the movie as long as he was? I also thought that the Terminator rip-off scene was stupid.
