Since the crowd typically only fandago when he is in the ring, I'll say he is over. That and I believe his youtube votes are pretty positive now.

Will the fans in the regular crowds ever get some rhythm? I've learned that no matter the state, country or planet. Wrestling fans are the most rhythmless creatures ever created. So...expect more aimless finger point flailing.

That and I believe his youtube votes are pretty positive now. There you go. Scientific proof of Fandango's overness. He's Youtube approved.

For me it's kind of like a sports team. When they're winning and it's cool to like them they have thousands if not millions of fans.
Fandango is the same right now. People see the crowds reacting big on TV and people on the internet going "Wow, That's awesome" and they want that, they want to be cool.
I would guarantee at least 60% of the people "Fandangoing" or singing his song are only into him because it's currently "cool"

To me, his theme song and his catchphrase are him. So if they are over he's over.

I'm waiting for him to face Daniel Bryan.

To me, his theme song and his catchphrase are him. So if they are over he's over. Indeed. The idea that a guy's music can be over but the wrestler himself isn't is a lie, IMO.

Is it just me or does this thread get posted a lot? It does but it's all "go away" heat for Fandango.

And yes, it's true, but "real fans" don't really exist except by standards set in your own mind to feel better about yourself or friends really; if people enjoy it then it's grand regardless of whether it's perceived as cool or not. Hell, being a wrestling fan in itself is spectacularly uncool in the great scale of things after all.

In fact, that's how pretty much everyone starts to become over, right?

No, he's not over. At all. I promise. Give it 2 months. He'll be in a dance off with Brodus Clay's unrepairable ass. All that said, I am a Fandango fan, but he ain't over. He's as over as Brodus Clay was over, we remember that. That wasn't even a year ago, learn from history folks!

Why can't people just look at the youtube likes and work it out for themselves?

It may be a fad, if it is, then WWE need to give him something big to do while it's still hot, make us care while we're interested. Otherwise he'll go the way of Brodus Clay, when he debuted most people were "THIS IS AWESOME" a few weeks later they were "well, this is cool, but is he going to do anything" which turned into "This again?" Because they never did anything to make people invest in the guy when most people were on board, now his dancers have more screen time and character than him.

This thread seems to get posted every f***ing day. Why can't people just look at the youtube likes and work it out for themselves? Because youtube likes are an outdated and unreliable barometer. I just perused the twittersphere to see what they thought of Fandango and here are some of the highlights: Twitter is full of hipster haters. YouTube is more relevant IMO. Maybe even YouTube comments.

Um... when Fandango was talking to, and dancing with, Jillian, I felt kind of uneasy. Am I the only one who thought he sounded a little... rapey?
