I do believe this show has the return of Gunner and Crimson.

I predict that Rob Van Dam will win it all.
Because he's a Joker, a Smoker, and a Midnight Toker.
(... just belied his age with that reference)

I know there's one or two WACKY teams in this. Not got as much going for it as last month's show did, so I'll wait until I hear anything good from it.

The fact there's not a flood of posts here suggests that hardly anyone bought it.

The fact there's not a flood of posts here suggests that hardly anyone bought it. Guessing it is to be expected for a show that wasn't considered that good by the people doing the spoilers.

It was quite lame. The matches mostly sucked, there were very few enjoyable character moments and it featured guys like Crimson, Gunner, Pectacular, Alex Freaking Silva, Al Snow, yet no guys like Angle, AJ, Sting, Bully or even guys like Magnus or Kaz...

I guess this proves that tag team wrestling isn't a draw in 2013.

I thought it was a fun little show, taken for what it was - basically a showcase of midcarders/new or unproven talent with a smattering of veterans and main eventers/former world champions to add to the "star power". From a self contained story perspective, Aries, Angle, Bully etc wouldn't have worked - you'd expect one of these guys to win it, but their lack of star power hurt the card overall.
The good, imho - having all tag matches meant that EVERY match had at least one wrestler in the mix who could gee things up a bit and get the crowd worked up. A nice creepy heel act from Devon (altho both he and all of the A's/8's involvement is now getting really stale). A nice little nod to Storm/Roode and Morgan/Ryan's prior histories.
The bad - the commentary. Like the last ONO event, Taz/Tenay simply don't know how to present a show as being exciting or special. Unless the wrestlers in the ring genuinely excite them, they spend too much time trying to be funny/heelish/clever and not enough actually promoting the action going on in the ring. The have the same problem on Impact, but Todd Kenelly at least tries to steer them both back to the actual MATCH. A lack of variety - If you're doing a tag-team only ppv (and particularly if you're doing it to gauge the importance of tag team wrestling in a modern climate) then scrap the gauntlet crap at the end - simply have a whole program of tag matches, but shake it up. Regular, six man, a Knockouts tag.
Lastly, I think they missed a huge PR opportunity. Joseph Park could have won, and then given the cheque to Dixie, to LEGITIMATELY present it to a children's charity. Have Hogan and some of the boys (Angle, Aries, Joe, AJ etc) appear at the presentation and you've got a huge potential event on your hands. But then again, promoting the business has never been TNA's strongest point.

Yeah, decent show, especially if you like Tag team wrestling, and almost no bad match (weakest one was probably Devon/Doc vs Hernandez/Silva), but the show really could have benefited from some variety (ie Knockouts, and so on) to shake things up and break the routine of the show.

I guess this proves that tag team wrestling isn't a draw in 2013. I don't know it seems like a self defeating idea. TNA reduced the cost of live pay per views to save money, but those of us aware of that fact are now less likely to watch the non major TNA ppvs.

Decent show, but it lacked drama... With a lot of the matches you knew who was going to win, it would have been nice had they paired up some long term friends, or long term rivals and played up their chemistry or friction. The commentary was dire, Tenay tried, but Tazz was just awful... Blah blah, Aces and Eights, blah. They really need to try other people on colour for the next one night only.
Also, Alex Silva has more chemistry with Hernandez than Chavo.

I guess this proves that tag team wrestling isn't a draw in 2013. No, this is proof that a show packed with second and third tier talent thrown together with no buildup isn't a draw.
