We fade backstage to the four members of the Revolution.
Sting is transfixed on a dagger in his hand and keeps moving his wrist to view it from a different angle.
Eric Young is re-watching the Ultimate X match.
Morgan is punching at a punching bag from one end, with Devon holding it on the other.
Christy Hemme enters the room.
Hi guys. Mind if I get a quick interview?
All the eyes turn to Eric Young. Young picks up a remote and pauses the match. Sting smiles and stabs the dagger into the couch. Devon and Morgan step away from the punching bag.
All four join Christy, who turns to her cameraman beside her and our view shifts to that camera.
Hi everyone, I am backstage with the Revolution. There is a lot going on, especially with the TNA World Championship picture. Young, I need to ask...
You don't need to ask a thing. Here's what I'll tell you and its ALL that I'll tell you. Joey Ryan holds a title that does not belong to him. He holds the top title, but does not understand the value and power that comes along with it. He celebrates with the crowd and revels in being champion but he does not use that title to create change. He is fine with the status quo here, because the status quo has benefited him from day one. If we had that title, things would be different. And things will be different soon enough when we get our hands on our title again.
Whether its Sting, me, maybe even Morgan or Devon, that title is making it back to the Revolution. And when it does, the current regime in TNA will topple.
But as far as next week...
Move on.
*sigh* Moving on.
Devon, Morgan. Tonight you guys go two on two against AJ Styles and Kurt Angle. Thoughts?
Morgan steps forward.
My thoughts are simple. All those pasty white fat internet nerd virgin losers want to critique me and call me an "average big guy". I ain't an average anything. I'm Matt goddamn Morgan and as Matt goddamn Morgan I deserve some respect. I don't care that AJ Styles has a very flippy moveset. I don't care that Kurt Angle used to be the best.
I remember back in the day, Devon and I fought Kazarian and Daniels while AJ took on Eric Young and failed. Since then, Styles' stock has plummeted. Now, I'm certain that Devon and I don't need any help to take him down. We don't need any assistance to defeat the former champ.
Devon and I are a well oiled machine and that is more than enough to defeat two guys who used to be a big deal around here.
Morgan passes the mic to Devon.
It ain't easy being the best. It ain't easy being a decorated tag team legend. It ain't easy following orders when you know that you just want to hurt some people and don't give a damn why you're doing it.
Well Morgan and I have been given the greenlight tonight. We're just out to hurt you two. We're just out to hurt everyone. Because the Revolution is after power. The Revolution is after change. And the Revolution is after blood.
Devon passes the mic to Sting.
You saw what we did to Kash. That man won't be walking right for the rest of his career.
That's only the start. We see problems here in TNA and we're going to fix them. People are going to start listening to us, or people are going to start dropping like flies. We are four men who want to make a difference around here because we are disgusted with this system and the mediocrity which can be referred to as management.
Dixie, I hope you're listening. Because we're going to destroy your precious baby, your precious company. You've nearly killed this company so many times, that we're simply just finishing the job.
Tonight, Angle, Styles. You don't know what you're in store for.
OH MY BROTHER. . . TESTIFY!
The shot fades.
