I haven't seen it mentioned, but the movie 'The Wizard' was one big walking advertisement for Nintendo. It even had one of the characters saying, "I love the Power Glove, it's so bad."

Many cop/counter-terrorism style shows sure love showing off their shiny new IT systems, hardware and mobile phones, the transition to the new systems always seems much quicker and smoother than the offices I've worked in.
Simon Pegg and the cast of Misfits love their cornettos but I'm not sure that's actually product placement.

The Smurfs had product placement all over the place. Even stuff that is no longer made, like Guitar Hero.

It's a game based on a movie, so I'm gonna say Enter the Matrix. Everyone had these weird Nokia phones (Which granted, I really wanted as a kid playing the game), all the cars were Dodges IIRC and there was huge Powerade adverts everywhere, and vending machines, where you could grab a Powerade and it would refill your health more than a health kit. Pretty sure there was some other stuff, but that stuck out to me particularly. Well, for other games and product placement: *Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee featured SoBe vending machines. At least the game was self-depreciating with the caption "Mmm! Product placement at its finest!" *Those same SoBe machines were seen in the original Splinter Cell game, but you couldn't do anything to them besides shoot 'em. *And, there was an entire adventure game where the magical artifacts were Skittles.

Mr. Pibb had it's own full First Person Shooter.
So did Chex, IIRC.

The Zeno Hot Spot in an episode of Degrassi a few years ago. Up until then, the show had mainly made-up names for companies, products and even books(that damn vampire episode...) or relied on Canadian brand names. However, this was when Teen Nick gained more influence on the show. And what's one of the most prominent products advertised on Teen Nick?
Well, Education Connection, but after that, it's the Zeno.
Also, Skype has been in practically every episode since 2010. And Twitter's been the focus of two different storylines.

That was so who you could differentiate between the good guys and the bad guys during a car chase, CTU drove the Fords while those no good nasty terrorists drove the "other" brands.

Josie and the Pussycats. A movie about a girl band fighting a corporation putting subliminal messages in their music in a movie filled with product placement up the wazoo. I don't know if it was shameless or brilliant. Add in Rosario Dawson, Tara Reid and Rachael Leigh Cook its worth a watch

Transformers turning the old model Bumblebee into a NEW Car! The entire movie looked like a commercial for General Motors. Especially consider the only bad guy in the first movie that turns into a car turns into a Ford Mr. Pibb had it's own full First Person Shooter. So did Chex, IIRC. Not really with chex, They made what was basically a doom mod and released it as a free prize inside the box. Not really product placement.

Maybe Bing in Amazing Spider-Man would be a less obvious choice for an obvious product placement.
The worst, most grating one in an otherwise bad movie anyway would be 8 Crazy Nights, the mall scene.
I wonder what channel this aired on.

I don't know if it was shameless or brilliant. Add in Rosario Dawson, Tara Reid and Rachael Leigh Cook its worth a watch that was 100% intentional, the film makers stated they weren't paid anything for the product placement.

Smoke a ton of Marlboros and you too can be like Superman! Dammit, I wonder what was going through their heads. It's the first thing that came to my mind. We learned about it during a subliminal message section in school years ago. Apparently Marlboro gave them a ton of money for that shot.
