The Dana Carvey show comes to mind, but, like Wayne's World, I believe it was all tongue in cheek.
Oh, and FOUR PAGES IN and no mention of Harold and Kumar go to White Castle?!?

Not one in particular but tv shows where they use MacBooks tend to make sure that the apple logo is dead center in the middle of the screen.

In recent years, South Park. the episode when KFC was banned, the PSP episode, the 2-parter with the Wii, Guitar hero, warcraft ect. Man, remember when South Park used to have fake brands, video game systems, and video games?

- Subway in Chuck, but that's understandable, Subway was key in getting Chuck past season 2. Fans bought the sandwiches to help save Chuck, so Subway kept giving the show money.
- The most recent episode of Warehouse 13 had great product placement. Pete asked Claudia if he thought her Prius could jump a hole that had just been made, she said "No, but I can Bing how deep the hole is as we're falling to our deaths."

For an example of a GOOD product placement, i loved the boost mobile episode of ATHF, since it seemed to be mocking the whole concept of product placement.

I am actually fine with most product placement in movies, video games, etc, as long as it does not encroach on the plot or otherwise get distracting.
Okay: Jimmy Maincharacterman eats out of a McDonald's bag.
Not Okay: Janey Maincharacterman, his wife, gushes about how much easier shopping for marital aides has become now that she has switched search engines to Bing for 2 minutes out of a 110 minute film.

As an aside, when ever I get down to writing a screenplay I now have names for my lead characters.

James Bond had been guilty of some abysmal product placement over the years :
But this one could well be the worst:

Bad Boys II had a big truck that had the Miller Draft logo on it. Same with a big Pepsi truck.
I guess Michael Bay likes to use product placement, huh?

I noticed that users here have mentioned apple products and if you guys really want to talk about shameless apple product placement in movies and television I'm surprised no has mentioned Independence Day.
I mean its beyond shameless when a freaking apple powerbook pretty much ends up saving the entire f***ing world in that movie. I bet Steve Jobs got a gigantic boner over that!

Man, remember when South Park used to have fake brands, video game systems, and video games? To be fair, I'm pretty sure Matt and Trey have said that they don't do any of that due to product placement and just include stuff that they enjoy. For example, they were really excited for the Wii to come out, the thing Cartman started obsessing over was the Wii's release date.

Smallville got pretty bad with the product placement at times. I remember a later season episode featuring the return of Pete Ross, it felt like a one hour commercial for whatever brand of chewing gum they were trying to sell.

Jeff Goldblum saving the world with his Macbook in Independence Day is the first thing that comes to mind for me.

Man, remember when South Park used to have fake brands, video game systems, and video games? In addition to using their secondary characters, instead of having "Generic Cop #97" instead of Officer Barnaby?
