Well it's been abysmal to put it bluntly.
You would think it be an easy feud to book ( former best friends fighting each other) , but they've failed at it in almost every way possible.
1. There's no intensity, like they had with their brawls in late 2012 and around mania time in march. 2. The commentary is doing a horrible job putting the feud and both champion and the challenger over. 3. The secret admirer storyline is getting more of the focus than the actual championship feud. 4. They felt the need to add the Bella Twins into the storyline for some reason. Who have been dull in the ring since coming back.
It's just disappointing since this was a feud I was looking forward to.

"The boring best friend fight" is what the Bellas said on commentary.
I don't even know why they were on commentary. Wouldn't be surprised if they had their match on Smackdown or something despite having 'set it up' weeks ago.

The bellas are turning into the Triple H of the diva division.

It's pathetic how badly WWE dropped the ball with AJ in general they had a star last summer, and through some horrible booking decisions almost completely ruined it. Don't get me started on how the WWE killed Kaitlyn's momentum either.

It's been pretty forgettble so far. They screwed AJ up last summer with the GM role and it's been downhill ever since. When you compare her to even 1 year ago...it's like night and day with the crowd reactions. The heel turn pretty much put the nails in the coffin in terms of her popularity with the crowds. It was all done so needlessly too. I needed to be reminded she's # 1 contender tonight...it's been that memorable.

AJ's title match is going to be the new Primo and Epico Rematch Clause match in that it'll never happen.

While I do like the fact that someone other than the Champion and #1 contender are getting some type of focus, it's unfortunate that the Bellas are clearly the stars of the Divas division. And I don't see WWE ever putting the belt on either of them because then that would end up highlighting one of them over the other.

The girls division is not really worth investing any emotion into.
These girls should just stick to being valets or facing each other in pudding or something.
When I think of the ideal female wrestler, I do not think of a girl who looks like a pre teen with terrible acting skills or a smug chick who emulates Trish Stratus too much.
The last time the division was worth watching was when Natalya and Beth Phoenix had a table match with Michelle and Layla.
Lately, I spend more time staring at their buttocks and looking around for funny signs.

Maybe it's just me, but I can see something like this happening: 1. Kaitlyn vs. AJ vs. Nikki Bella (or both of them) 2. Late in the match, Kaitlyn spears AJ, the Bella throws Kaitlyn out of the ring, pins AJ to win the title 3. They continue to do the Kaitlyn/Bella thing for a few months, where it's revealed the Bellas were the secret admirer 4. Bellas move onto the Funkadactyls in the Summer to help promote their reality show It's pathetic how badly WWE dropped the ball with AJ in general they had a star last summer, and through some horrible booking decisions almost completely ruined it. Don't get me started on how the WWE killed Kaitlyn's momentum either. You could go on for days about how badly WWE killed AJ and blew their opportunity on Kaitlyn. I just don't think WWE is that interested in having a female star these days, or at least they're not very good on capitalizing on that fact. AJ was probably the closest they've come due to her massive push. I'm just not sure why they bothered building her to such a high level, pushing her so far, and for so long, if they were just going to squash it a few months later.

WWE has never been able to book women's wrestling, properly and never will. If they tried to book a serious women's division, they should give the Divas their own show ala ECW or Smackdown, and then book that show as they would book men's wrestling and not go into all the dumb and goofy sex storylines. A WWE sponsored women's wrestling show, booked seriously and trying to be legit, would pretty much immediately bury the competion, and probably make some money (not saying a lot, but some if the writing is decent) but WWE just isn't interested.

I think the wwe had no plans what so ever for AJ after Money in the bank and they thought the divas title was below her so they put her in the gm spot, which started her decline and then she went on a date with Cena and it all went downhill from there.

There was that awful Vickie feud, that ended with Vickie beating her and both of them being heels. Classic.

Bellas probably have "Title reign" in their contract and they want them to have the title to promote the shitty show they're gonna be on

I don't think I'd agree with that. The WWE has shown flashes of being able to book a solid female feud. The Eve vs Kaitlyn feud was actually relatively decent and was good enough to help Kaitlyn start to get over. Unfortunately they threw that all away and either didn't feature her at all, or put her in feuds/matches that didn't highlight her strengths.

Imaginine almost thirteen years (holy shit) ago if Lita who was receiving her first major push had become over then placed into a ridiculous story. Then when she finally received her first Women's title shot which was in a match against her former best friend, it had to be overshadowed by two annoying, overexposed twins who were going to be in a crappy reality show that would last probably three episodes.
Or imagine Trish Stratus who improved as a wrestler won the Women's Championship and was rarely seen until those twins pop up. Then placed into a stupid fake secret admirer storyline where everyone knew what the result would be and Trish would look like a dumbass.

If they wanted to give the bellas the title, why add AJ into the mix? The wwe has showen in the past that they don't mind keeping AJ from the diva divison so to finally put AJ in the divas title picture just for the bellas to get the title seems fishy. It be like in a smaller scale like Cena being in a world title match on a random ppv but not winning it, and no sells it the next night. I just see it as odd to decide to put AJ int the title picture without her getting her first title win

Maybe they just needed someone else to challenge for a month? Either way, with the way their booking, it won't matter who the champ is because the Bellas are clearly going to be the divas RAW focuses on. You know somethings up when AJ is wrestling and they're more focused on the Bellas and the secret admirer. Thats not how it would have went last year, or even a few months ago.

If you don't like what's happening, just do what I've been doing since late last year and start channel surfing the moment you see that a Divas match is starting. Trust me, you'll be asking yourself why you haven't been doing this all along.
And don't worry about feeling alone in doing this because the QH ratings show that on a typical Raw, a few hundred thousand viewers do the very same thing (and last week, it was nearly a million viewers tuning them out).

These girls should just stick to being valets or facing each other in pudding or something. Yeah, rather than booking the division correctly, we should punish the female wrestlers in the company by forcing them into misogynistic T&A segments that made WWE so uncomfortable to watch back in the doldrums of the late 90s/early 00s.
