They should make him King of the Ring "King Kofi Kingston, has a great ring to it...not so nice on the initials...but still has a great ring to it!!" Never mind In all seriousness I think if they make him a good character with depth and a few alterations to his moveset then I would be happy with him as a main eventer. He should have been one when his character/mic work was at his best during the Orton feud, that really should have been the one to elevate him before the whole STEWPID thing happened.

I think Kofi is fine staying where he is.
They need more people at his level.

And then Cesaro starts jobbing over and over to Randy Orton for apparent reason. Seriously, the company has a solid Upper Midcard roster. Kofi, Cesaro, Swagger, Ziggler, Barrett, even The Miz.These guys should be facing each other more often and given more mic time instead of being fed to Orton/Sheamus or in Kofi's case getting shoved into the background and expecting him to be a bigger deal when they take notice again. those guys face each other constantly. And how often are they even given proper time to develop feuds? When was the last time that Kofi and Ziggler wrestled for an actual purpose and not because of filler. Kofi had something going with Wade earlier this year, and then it got stopped abruptly so he and Miz could trade opponents.

I think he's awful. How many chances is he going to get before creative realise Kofi Kingston sucks?
He hasn't improved at all in all the time in the company. He still has no personality. He can still barely sell. He hasn't added anything new to his offence since the SOS. His moveset still sucks. He still does the same old tired mannerisms and taunts. He still can't cut a good promo.

Dude needs a chance to talk to get some character. Give him a nice attire. Let him show aggression instead of being all happy go lucky.

I'm sure that he's a nice guy and he's a good wrestler but Kofi falls into the John Morrison/Dolph Ziggler category of guys that are good in the ring and very athletic but that's all that they really have going for them.

A midcard title doesn't even count as a push anymore, just a place holder so the guy holding it will look slightly more credible when they lose to the people higher on the totem pole.

While I wouldn't go as far as to say Kofi is awful, he's been given a lot more than most of the roster. A midcard title doesn't count as a push anymore, but you have to admit that Kofi is put on a pedestal compared to the rest of the midcard, except for maybe Miz and R-Truth, and that's only because they have leftover cred from their main event pushes. Why does he need to keep winning the midcard belts over and over again? Why can't any other faces get a chance to run with the belts? Why can't someone like Tyson Kidd, Justin Gabriel, Alex Riley, Brodus Clay, Tensai, Santino Marella, Yoshi Tatsu, or Zack Ryder "look slightly more credible when they lose to people higher on the totem pole?" Why does it always have to be Kofi?

if they do it save it. we haven't had a breakthrough rumble winner who won the tilte at mania since Batista. Have him win the rumble and win the WHC at mania XXX. gives mania some luster back by having a first time world title win

Why does it always have to be Kofi? It doesn't have to be I agree. I do wish a lot more focus was placed on the midcard to make everyone look at least somewhat credible but it's how it is. As to Kofi's own place, I think it's a mixture of his overness, him being reliable in terms of injury and no personal problems and them wanting someone to be in Kofi's spot as the semi-credible midcard chap who others can go over to look good. Kofi's just the right chap for that slot.
