Great, my internet connection drops out and I miss the jump.
But I couldn't think of one either, so it's not just you.

I'm bad with titles. Something suggestive with "VaJJ"

In honor of the 500 and 600, something like "1100 miles in only 589 miles"? Or since this is the start of summer, something themed for that, maybe dirt track related?

So...yeah...
I'm still in love with Simona de Silvestro.
That's all I have to contribute right now.

I like that idea, but we have to add Monaco somehow.
"1262 miles, 3 races, 1 weekend"

Have the V8 Supercars in Austin even registered with the Motorsports public over there?

Would be great sight to see. I'd say it's highly probable for her to win this year, but she's driving for KV and they have been great at coming up just short of victory. Meanwhile, Kanaan is trying to find her a boyfriend: linkStill left to qualify for the Indianapolis 500: #6 Sebastian Saavedra #15 Graham Rahal #17 Michel Jourdain #18 Ana Beatriz #21 Josef Newgarden #41 Conor Daly #55 Tristan Vautier #63 Pippa Mann #81 Katherine Legge #91 Buddy Lazier So which driver gets sent home? Even though it's been a few years for him, I would think Lazier is safe with a Chevy, and Saavedra as well. A week ago I would have thought Beatriz or Mann would be in real trouble, but the Rahal team has looked so bad this month.

Have the V8 Supercars in Austin even registered with the Motorsports public over there? With the casual racing fan, no. With me, about 6 years ago.

Doesn't help that the only TV outlet they can get is on Speed in the middle of the night. If Speed can take F1, the premier motorsport in the world, and make it seem like it's nothing more than a nuisance (mostly because of the FOX business model), V8 doesn't really stand a chance until they can get coverage elsewhere.

I'm think Jourdain is going home at Indy. He's been off the pace all week.

While NASCAR plays Sunday afternoons, V8 Supercars regularly play within that time frame. Hopefully that helps.

Michel Jourdain didn't even make an attempt to qualify, being unable to find anywhere close to the speed needed in practice. Surprised at how bad that car was, especially as the Rahal team was able to find set-ups that worked for Jakes and Rahal. Starting field for the Indianapolis 500:
Row 1: Ed Carpenter / Carlos Muñoz (R) / Marco Andretti Row 2: E.J. Viso / AJ Allmendinger (R) / Will Power Row 3: Ryan Hunter-Reay / Helio Castroneves (W) / James Hinchcliffe
Row 4: JR Hildebrand / Alex Tagliani / Tony Kanaan Row 5: Oriol Servia / Justin Wilson / Sebastien Bourdais Row 6: Scott Dixon (W) / Dario Franchitti (W) / Takuma Sato
Row 7: Charlie Kimball / James Jakes / Simon Pagenaud Row 8: Townsend Bell / Ryan Briscoe / Simona de Silvestro Row 9: Josef Newgarden / Graham Rahal / Sebastian Saavedra
Row 10: Tristan Vautier (R) / Ana Beatriz / Pippa Mann Row 11: Conor Daly (R) / Buddy Lazier (W) / Katherine Legge

Re: the V8 Supercars at COTA, I want to recall Speed saying that they had about 68,000 in attendance, which is pretty good, I would think. I feel like the live attendance is going to be the bread and butter of COTA, but I just love that track. Hope NASCAR can get there one of these years.
On a side note, I kind of wish Buddy Lazier's car at least had purple highlights.

I know there's not very many Drag Racing fans here, but I thought you guys might enjoy this. I took some videos already this year in the race car with my new GoPro.
First pass on the track last Sunday.
