In that same interview he also implies that all of Brock's wins in UFC were fixed. I don't put a tonne of stroke in what Frye says anymore, he's basically your racist old redneck uncle talking about how everything was better back in his day.

Looks like Fedor is coming out of retirement. However, I'm not sure where he will fight.

Looks like Fedor is coming out of retirement. However, I'm not sure where he will fight. Still just wild speculation more than anything at this point. Really not too excited about it despite loving Fedor. After the Strikeforce stuff it was obvious he was past his peak and that was years ago. I guess I'll just have to get excited about it I don't see him fighting for UFC. I think the more likely scenario is him fighting some freak fights in Bellator. Perhaps he will be the one to crush Kimbo? If he is they should get some more fights out of Kimbo first since that Shamrock fight was a huge draw. Also, Kimbo seems so out of Fedor's class it's ridiculous. Perhaps Bellator can come up with a classier freak fight for Fedor? Tito Ortiz in a top hat?

And seemingly everyone's worst nightmare is reality. Mighty Mouse defends the flyweight title against John Dodson at UFC 191 in September.

Well, the buyrate may suck but to be fair, this is gonna be a great matchup. Dodson, in my opinion, is the flyweight with the best chance to take the belt from Johnson. If UFC pushes this harder than they usually push Johnson's PPV headliners this could do better than 200K, which would be a relative success compared to the other three PPVs he's been the main event of.

Personally, I've always put a large portion of the blame on Johnson's poor drawing power on Dana and the UFC. They're the promotion and it's their job to promote the fights and fighters. They don't do their job a lot of the time. Look at UFC 189 for example. That show had 2 huge title matches on it, but did UFC ever mention that welterweight title more than just in passing in the ads leading up to the show until Aldo got hurt? The answer is no. Ronda Rousey is the most popular female athlete, an argument can easily be made for athlete period, but what other woman does the UFC really promote in her division besides her? How boring and generic have their ads for PPVs gotten the last several years? All they consist of now are years old highlights and Rogan constantly calling someone a killer and Goldberg shouting their name. There's no finesse or effort put into them anymore. It's especially frustrating because when they do get creative, their ads are awesome.

Everyone for tomorrow's UC debut in Scotland is on weight, and Bisping and Leites had one heckuva staredown. That fight is gonna be good.

UFC has lost a lot of star power in the past 2-3 years and are doing a crappy job at building new ones. Rousey has essentially built her star power herself. Mighty Mouse has been just as dominant (maybe a stretch... but go with me), IMO, in the flyweight division but they just do nothing with him.

Sounds like the UFC is going to have Aldo vs. McGregor at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The date in Vegas the they wanted is occupied by an Andrea Bocelli concert.

JUST ANNOUNCED! UFC 192: Cormier vs. Gustafsson is a go! I like both guys, but I'll root for Guatafsson. Would love to see my fellow Swede bring the belt back home for another huge show.

JUST ANNOUNCED! UFC 192: Cormier vs. Gustafsson is a go! Why? Seriously, why Alexander? Look, I like The Mauler as much as the next guy but he has done nothing to earn this spot. Bader is on the same card, tried to sell a fight with DC, and is at least on a 4 fight winning streak with three of those four coming against guys either ranked in the top 10 at LHW (OVP, Calvacante) or were ranked in top 10 at time of fight (Phil Davis). You switch Bader and Alex I'm fine with this card, but for Alex to get this shot when the last time we saw him he was on the end of a beatdown by Rumble, who was crushed by DC, is ridiculous.

I was thinking about this and You always hear about Dana and other people wanting fighters to speak up and sell themselves and their fights. Right here, Ryan Bader does that and he gets passed over for a guy who just got knocked out in his last fight and was even considering retiring after that fight. I say this as a big fan of Gus, but he doesn't deserve this fight yet.

That label is exactly why he got shunned, unfortunately.
