That list makes it look like Paul is now a major star in WWE now or atleast was at one point. So who screwed up Paul, WWE or both?

Wasn't there an awesome RVD vs Jerry Lynn match on Velocity as well?

London and Akio had some absolute classics on what amounted to a C show. They threw the f*** down every time.

oh MAN, the London/Akio series.
The tragedy is, if those happened today, HHH or Regal or somebody would have noticed and lobbied them to get pushed on the main show immediately.

Its nice to see London getting some love on WWE.com. One of the many talented guys who were just lost in the shuffle during that time period.

Such a shame that Ultimo Dragon didn't achieve more in the WWE.

Man my list would of been all 9 Paul London vs Akio matches with the #1 being Benoit vs Regal that happened in either 05 or 06. Seriously watch that match!

Wasn't there an awesome RVD vs Jerry Lynn match on Velocity as well? I believe that one was on Heat rather than Velocity.

Benoit vs regal from velocity in 2005 (I think) was one of my favorite matches of the last decade. Obviously it wouldn't be on this list but that's my #1.

Yeah, Benoit vs. Regal is the only really notable omission. Further proof that Benoit was a real jerk.

My only regret is that the cruiserweight battle royal from the 1st or 2nd online Velocity episode was not on the list. That was an amazing match, a lot of new spots for the WWE at the time. They moreorless redid the match for the Eddie Guerrero tribute show, but the online one was much better.
But the list is great. And SO glad that BOTH London/Akio matches were on there.

[img src="http://i4.tinypic.com/4xw3iwm.png" src=" " alt=" "] The reaction to that always seemed really moronic to me. He just looks like he's smiling nervously at his peeved boss. It never read as anything but an in-character moment. Apparently he was a huge dick backstage, but he'd never have been pushed at his size at the time even if he'd have behaved himself, so really, it's everyone's fault.

Is Paul London vs. Akio the match where London got dropped on his head and Josh Matthews said "Holy shit!" ?
Edit: Just looked at the list and yep, that's what #2 is. They even mention Josh Matthews cursing in the article
