Still not as tough as football players. At least not as tough as linemen. I think that it can be argued hockey players are as tough, if not tougher. At the very least, we can agree that Baseball and Basketball players are for the most part, bitches Agreed. But for football it really depends on which position. Offensive Lineman like someone mentioned are warriors always often playing with broken hands and fingers and toes. Quite a few Wide Receivers are big whiners on and off the field.

The thing to remember with football, especially linemen, is that they're taking those big hits on every down. Not diminishing hockey players' toughness at all, but with how big football players are combined with just the pure, constant physicality of football that even hockey doesn't have, they literally have to wear armor to protect them from serious, dare I say life-threatening, injury.
Imagine a hockey player getting a hard, clean check along the boards every 20-30 seconds or so and that's pretty much the physical abuse football linemen have to take.

I had Bruins over Leafs in 6- I thought Toronto was way better than some thought- and over the Rangers in 7- didn't expect Krug to suddenly score at a Bourqueian pace

I do think that picking them in 5 games was VASTLY underestimated the Bruins To be fair he or she may have thought it would be a close competitive series. Like Detroit vs. Anaheim in the first round in 2003. Anaheim won in a sweep but there was a 3OT game and Anaheim won every game by one point. I love how defensive you Boston fans of FAN forum are. I thought the Canucks would sweep the Bruins in a similar ducks and red wings 2003 way and you all got up in my grill. I'm not being sarcastic I actually love it!

Damn that was unexpected. I thought he played all in the playoff games. Did he get injured? Sucks it has to end because of concussion issues

I'm not ready to bury the Pens yet. I have far too much respect for them to do that. That team has way too much talent, and frankly I'm still afraid of them. I won't breathe easy until I hear the final buzzer and the scoreboard tells me the Bruins have won.

Craig MacTavish just said he's going to trade away Horcoff and Hemsky this summer! Any takers? *checks Calender* I think Mac T might be 9 years too late. Hemsky does have a big cap but one year left so I can see him being traded to a cap floor team like Florida, Phoenix, Dallas, Nashville for a 4th liner or weak prospect or a 2nd or 3rd round pick. Horcoff will probably be bought out unless if Edmonton pays half of his salary. Either way when he does get bought out Horcoff lots of teams will line up offering him a 600K - 2.5 million dollar deal since he is useful as a back checking 3rd or 4th line center who is actually good at the penalty kill and winning faceoffs. I just hope he's trying get rid of them as soon as possible so Edmonton now has 10.5 million dollars in cap saved for the purpose of getting a big name player in UFA like Bryan Bickell, Nathan Horton or Mark Streit or to make some kind of blockbuster trade.

Not underestimating the Bruins, apparently overestimating the Pens. Face it, on paper the Pens have the be all, end all of talented teams. This is the most epic underachievement in sports history by them. And for the record.. I also believe now that I'll be wrong in the "Pens in 7". They may pull their shit together and not get swept, but there's too much going on at this point for them to pull it off. Hell of a player (Campbell) for playing and being somewhat effective on the PK with his broken leg. Lot of heart shown there. Still can't believe that the refs didn't blow the whistle as he was in obvious distress.

Wolfpack Bitch, what do you think of this idea- let Fleury loose ad sign Ray Emery, go with him and Vokoun for 3-5 years.
