You had ONE job, Toronto! There job was to awaken the beast. I can't help it but like the Boston Bruins. They seem to always eliminate my most hated teams or teams I don't care for petty reasons the past two years. Even though I would of loved to see Tampa in the cup finals again with Roloson in net, I'm not sure they could get the job done like Boston did trolling Canucks in game seven perfectly creating the most entertaining riot in the year of the riots

I can't root for the Bruins.
I'm sorry- Sabres fan with too many bad memories of Moog and Bourque dashing our hopes, and you know my take on Brad Marchand.

So, there's still time to pull a Detroit and lose three games in a row spectacularly. But even if we win the series against LA, I'm not looking forward to the Bruins.

Atleast the Wings' chokejob will be overshadowed by the public humiliation of the Piitsburgh Penguins.
Bravo Bruins!

Would Tuukka Rask be this good if he played for Edmonton?
I mean, some of his success has to do with who's in front of him.

Granted, yes the defense in front of him plays a strong defensive game and blocks a lot fo shots. Regardless though, the saves he makes and the consistency of those saves, I'd say he's in the discussion as a top 5 goaltender in the league. For me, it goes: 1. Quick 2. Lundqvist 3. Miller 4. Rask 5. Niemi

I would put Bobrovski or Anderson or Price or Crawford in instead

However, thanks for reminding me about Bob. Replace Miller with the #1 cop in town.

You really can't separate a good goalie from a good defense either. A good defense helps make a good goalie great while a bad defense can really hurt even a great goalie.

Brodeur had that great D-core for years in Jersey, Quick has our D-core (when healthy) in front of him, and so on.

The Bruins play like garbage at the start of April, gag the division title, sleepwalk through parts of the Leafs series, and then down 3 goals FINALLY decide to give a damn.
And of course, they now can do no wrong and are bulletproof.
If Matt Frattin makes it 5-2, we're calling Rask a choker who will never win the big one. Now, he's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I also forgot Schneider, Luongo, Hiller, Howard, Rinnie, Elliot, Halak, Backstrom, Reimer, Brodeur, Smith, MAF, Backstrom, Lehtonen. Goalies are more along the lines of what have you been doing for me lately then what you did in the past. They are amazingly inconsistent. Like look at Bryz for examplemor the star of The Mask. The only one on that list you made that has been consistent for a long time is Lundqvist even though they all have the potential of being great for years especially Quick. Edit: cam ward. See how easy it is to forget someone
