I think Ray Emery or one of St. Louis goaltenders will end up in Philly. They should also trade with Anaheim who arguably have the best goaltending scouts in the past decade If Paul Holmgren can shake down the Ducks for John Gibson or Viktor Fasth, I would be eternally grateful. I want a top goalie but I'm horrified what Homer would trade for one. Couturier, Schenn, Coburn.... hell he might trade all 3 of them.

He has done well as a backup in Anaheim and Chicago past three years and coming into as a backup he won't be expensive.

Consider Ed Snider's Yosemite Sam style of managment, I could see him telling Homer to send Giroux packing for one of Minnesota's goaltenders or something.

At what point will the draft speculations start? I, for one, am excited for Aleksander "Sasha" Barkov's potential as a top three draft pick.

It's hard to speculate first overall now with Roy giving away who he wants to draft. I don't get why people don't love Drouin more. One of the sickest hands I've ever seen, lead the CHL in points by a big margin, and the first draft eligible player to win CHL player of the year since Sidney Crosby

However this year's draft is stacked and he's kind of got lost in the shuffle.

However this year's draft is stacked and he's kind of got lost in the shuffle. How I view it as he isn't the safe bet like MacKinnon is. Reason being MacKinnon was hyped up as the first overall pick for next year before Yakupov and plays center. Even though he and Drouin are both small, Drouin plays wing and tripled his point production. He went from 29points in 33 games to 105 points in 49 games. It's safe to say Barkov would of been the #1 pick in another year as well. The guy is a big center who is 9th in scoring in the SM-l league which is unheard of for a under 18 year old and is considered to be one of the best Finnish prospects ever.

The full parade route for the Blackhawks will be released tomorrow, but it will start at 11am on Friday from the United Center, and heads to a rally at Hutchinson Field in Grant Park.
In addition, Patrick Kane will be on the Late Show with David Letterman on CBS tonight.

More info on the parade - it will leave the United Center, running along Washington Street, beginning at Des Plaines Street and going to Wabash Street, then going east to Michigan Avenue, then north to Randolph Street, and then east along Randolph to Columbus Drive, where it will end up at Hutchinson Field.

HOCKEY NEWZ TIME: -Lecavalier contract is going to be bought out.
-Stanley Cup Game Six Game Tying Goal Hero Bolland is being shopped around
-Shattenkirk resigned to a 4 year 17 million dollar contract
-Legendary and respected player agent Don Baizley passes away at 71 due to non smokers lung cancer. He is known to be an amazing agent for Finnish Players.
-Letang says if he's going to get traded he prefers Toronto. Please get traded to Toronto because I want Toronto to make a firesale of defensemen due to overflow of good defenseman which will benefit defensively weak teams

Still that's a pretty shitty deal. Also Ryan Malone is being shopped around. All I can say is all 29 teams will be looking at Bolland for he's a perfect 3rd line center with a low cap hit.

I'm not even close to a Bolts fan, but it still blows my mind that Vinny will no longer be with the Tampa organization. It feels unnatural to me.

Kris Letang is a definite upgrade over scrubs like Mike Kostka or Korbi Holzer. Question is, do they remove J-M Liles or someone else to make room for him?
