I can't believe the amount of injuries that have happened so far in training camp. Some teams are losing valuable pieces. Clearly the solution is to go to an 18 game season as soon as possible.

Oh wait, invite redacted! Lol, just kidding. How's Lacy looked? Saw the pic of him looking like a whale, but I guess it was supposedly a bad angle. He was in first team RB drills yesterday, but he sat out today because of a "hamstring issue". It looks like if he stays healthy (Which is apparently hard to do this year), he's probably going to be our starter and finally give us some sort of running game. . Finally, sheeeeeesh. But I'm not sure how he's going to be performing behind what was at best a suspect o-line before Bulaga tore is ACL.

Ex-Bills WR Donald Jones has decided to retire because of a kidney disorder.

I'm not going to besmirch Wes Welker because of everything he accomplished during his time in Foxboro, but man, that's not a quote that inspires toughness. Whining about a coach giving you a lot of guff? Come on Wes, you're better than that.

I'm not a giant Belichek fan, but with all of his accomplishments in the past 15 or so seasons, I think he knows what he's doing more then Wes Welker (No offense at all to Welker).

So basically Welker rolled out because Belichek is a big meanie and called him out for something that he presumably did wrong.

Didn't see it posted yet, if so my apologies:
Falcons starting RT Mike Johnson dislocated and fractured his ankle and is expected to miss rest of season.

My God, all these injuries before Preseason even starts for most teams.
I think I tore my ACL just sitting here reading about it.

With all these season ending injuries, I'm just imagining on the Players Association looking at Goodell at this point when he wants an 18 game season.

I think the lack of 2-a-days is part of the problem. These guys aren't having the option of slacking or knocking the rust off early and getting in form since they are down to only one practice so they bust ass sloppily and it's costing them.

About this time I get excited to watch any football, but then after watching the first pre-season game it wanes a bit. It must be similar to a heroin addict getting a weak dose or something. It stops the shakes but that's about it haha.

I was convinced Rejus Benn would be a Pro-Bowler, & seriously thought he'd finally put together a full dominant season this year. Since HS he's been bitten pretty hard by the injury bug. For a physical WR like Benn, that's not good. If you want to kill a few minutes, check out his recruiting/HS videos. Dude was a stud. Can't remember the school, but it was in DC. domrep might know. Dunbar, went to school at Illinois. Illinois had a pipeline of talent coming from Dunbar.
